Wedding dresses don’t have to be white — any color works!

It's perfectly OK to ban guests from bringing kids to your wedding.

Unless you can afford it, your wedding shouldn’t cost more than $20,000.

An open bar is the only way to go for the wedding reception.

People should be allowed to say, "no" to being a bridesmaid or groomsman.

The ceremony shouldn’t be longer than 20 minutes.

Barn weddings are overdone and tacky at this point.

A guest wearing white (or the same color as the bride’s dress) to the wedding IS a big deal.

Bridesmaid “proposal” boxes are a waste of time and money.

The bride should help pay for the bachelorette party.

The bride should have a say in how the bridal party does their hair and makeup.

It’s more special and intimate to elope than to have a big, fancy wedding.
