Once in middle school I decided to do my nails before bed. I left the polish remover open on my bedside table next to my water. Needless to say, I couldn't taste food for about 3 days afterward.

Where The Red Fern Grows. That was the first book to ever make me cry. I was sitting in the library when I was 8 years old when I finished it. Tears streaming down my face! I still read it and it's one of my absolute favorites even though it makes me incredibly sad.
