We know that Twitter is where people go to pick fights. It's mostly harmless and SUPER FUN to watch.
Like the time when Azaelia Banks tried to drag Rihanna over Trump (TL;DR Banks lost). Or that short-lived yet sass-filled feud between Wendy's and Burger King.
Unfortunately it's also where bigoted trolls go to jack-off. Or as they claim—exercising their freedom of speech.
Which brings us to last Sunday, when a tweet by American-Muslim lawyer, Qasim Rashid, went totally viral.
A white supremacist DM'd me claiming Islam is violent & taunted me to show "where's the Christian version of Isis?"… https://t.co/6LcBMetTiV
In his tweet, Rashid, who's no stranger to harassment by racist Twitter users, claims a white supremacist slid into his DM with the most asinine query.

And oooh boy, did Rashid have RECEIPTS aka world history. In fact, they simply had to type 'Christian/Religious Terrorism' on Google.

He took the time to neatly list several examples of religious-based extremist groups and events around the world.

And emphasized that the KKK, Neo-Nazi groups and factions of the Aryan Nations still exist in the US.

Of course Twitter was abuzz with some users applauding his polite clap back.
@MuslimIQ .@MuslimIQ standing ovation. 🙌🏽

While others, hmmm...not so much.
@LADale80 @psycho4ensics1 @MuslimIQ No Christian mass killings in the name of God . It's 2017 not 400 years ago .
@MuslimIQ Christianity went through various reformations. Islam has not. Christianity embraces church/state separation, does Islam?
And many wanted the low-down on the troll's response. In short, he informed Rashid that "no one has died from racism since World War II".
@thekleptocracy He claimed racism doesn't exist and no one has died from racism since WW2. smh facepalm.
#AlternativeFacts
Mostly, people agreed that every religion has extremists and it's ridiculous to judge others based on the violent actions of few.
New plan: move to Mars.
