Monday (7/27): Boy Scouts Lift Gay Leaders Ban

The Boy Scouts of America, voted Monday (7/27) to lift its ban on openly gay troop leaders and employees. According to the Boy Scouts’ statement, 79 percent of board members voted in favor of the resolution. This is a great step in the right direction for the organization. Woo, let's go tie some knots and build a campfire!!!

Tuesday (7/28): Dr. Seuss Has A New Book Out!

Agghhh, my inner child is clawing its way out! "What Pet Would You Get?," is the name of the new book, and it hit shelves today (7/28). It has been 25 years since Dr. Seuss last published a book. In 2013, Dr. Seuss' wife found some old writings and sketches while cleaning out his office. Apparently there are two other books to be later published. Who's going to go get a copy?!

Wednesday (7/29): Straight Pride Parade

Artist, Anthony Rebello, put together a "Straight Pride Parade," today (7/29). This event took place in Seattle, Washington. He was parading down the street with a bouquet of black and white balloons and a sign that read, "Straight Pride," written on a piece of cardboard. The turn out was not what Rebello expected, because he was the only one in attendance. Would you have joined him?

Thursday (7/30): Giselle Bündchen in Burqa?

Images of the beautiful Brazilian surfaced this morning (7/30), of her outside a Parisian clinic. She was there to get cosmetic surgery done and wanted to go in unnoticed. Wearing a burqa as a disguise, Bündchen definitely went noticed. Hey, Giselle, why not just go at night? Just a thought...

Friday (7/31): Italy Learns To Fly

This video went viral on Friday (7/31), of 1000 Italians playing the Foo Fighters "Learn to Fly." This was done as a plea to Dave Grohl to play a show in Cesena, Italy. All that synchronized hard work paid off, because Grohl later tweeted "Ci vediamo a presto, Cesena.... xxx Davide," which translates to "See you soon, Cesena .... xxx David!"

Saturday (8/1): Bobbi Kristina's Funeral

On Saturday (8/1), Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late Whitney Huston and Bobby Brown was laid to rest. Family and friends came together to pay respect and to say their final goodbyes to the 22 year-old. The service, which was invitation only, took place at the Saint James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia.
