During the Brit awards last night, Liam Gallagher took to Twitter to tell Kanye West that his current music is a long way away from his debut album The College Dropout, as well as branding the rapper as "utter shit."
Kanye West's performance at the London event had him debut a brand new song, All Day, which came under fire for being heavily censored when it aired on TV, and it didn't really impress the ex-rock and roll star.
After calling him shit, he tweeted the rapper saying: "@kanye west …And you're a million miles away from College Dropout. That's artistry. LG x"
Gallagher ended his messages to West by telling him to "check out Lee Mavers" – that's the guy from The La's, in case you were wondering.
West's last album, Yeezus, came out to incredibly mixed reviews. It was either considered an album that was genius and pushed West into Godlike fame, or it was literally the worst album ever recorded and caused a lot of people to question whether West has become a has-been. I still hate Yeezus. It shouldn't have been released, and is easily the worst thing Kanye has done. I beg he goes back to Dropout days, or MBDTF days, and draws his inspiration from those albums.
According to Kanye, his next album is "80 per cent done" but if it's anything like Yeezus then I'm done with him, and will stop defending his musical ability. He's an amazing producer, but damn son, Yeezus was terrible. Stop it, Kanye. Please. For the love of god, just STOP IT!
