Response to What’s The Corniest Joke You’ve Ever Heard?:
Two penguins are walking down the street. One says to the other “you look like you’re wearing a tuxedo.” To which the other replies “who says I’m not?”
Response to The Food Cage Match Of The Century: Chicago-Style Deep Dish Pizza Vs. New York-Style Pizza:
Whether NY or Chicago, the debate rages on. The statement that I disagree with the most is the foreigner who categorizes all American pizza as oily and tasteless. Americans didn’t invent pizza, but they sure did perfect it. Sometimes I’m in the mood for cheese crackers with seasoning (Italian), and sometimes I’ll take a Chitown heart attack. But you can’t say that Americans don’t know pizza.
I know that all of these comments are “what about ____ university??!” Anyway, I want to jump on that bandwagon and give a shoutout to BYU-Hawaii.
Cinemark is a franchised corporation. To expect “it” to show emotion is akin to poetic personification. The corporate entity would like to reach out in some way, which is perhaps appropriate … or not (I’m not one to say, as I am not a PR person). Cinemark is a business, not the villain - he’s behind bars.
