The "You're Welcome" Song In "Moana" Is So Damn Addictive

    "You're welccommmmmeeeee."

Dwayne Johnson is Maui in Moana, the latest Disney film. It doesn't matter if you haven't seen the film (it's not even out yet in the UK). For you see, The Rock sings a song "You're Welcome" and it is glorious.

The song was written and put together by Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda. Basically, the context for this scene is that Moana (Auli'i Cravalho) is pissed at Maui, but he's like "noooooo you're welcome."

Firstly, The Rock is a damn good singer. Who knew?

But there's also so many damn good lyrics here.

"I know it's a lot: the hair, the bod!!!!!..."

    "...When you're staring at a demi-god."

    Here's another.

"Oh, also I lassoed the sun. You're welcome!"

"To stretch the days and bring you fun."

    And finally...

"And the tapestry here on my skin! Is a map of the victories I win! Look where I've been, I make everything happen..."

"Look at that mini-Maui just tippity-tappin' tapping ahhhh ahhh ahhh ahhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhh."

    It's a real earworm.

It's almost impossible to get it out of your head.
