Skepta just performed at the Brit Awards with his song: "Shutdown." However, there was a problem when it was broadcasted on TV.

A key section of the chorus was muted again and again, which led to a quite an outcry on Twitter.
Can someone explain the random audio muted by the techs BTS? Seems unnecessary @BRITs @ITV
From watching the international feed of the awards on YouTube, it appears that ITV decided to mute the words "Ring Ring Pussy" from the song.
*Audio muted* #Brits #Brits2017
Shout out to *AUDIO MUTED* #Brits
... They're muting Skepta but they let Dermott say "Batshit crazy" live? WE CAN SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING BRITS/ITV, IT… https://t.co/OG60xQllRN
Brits - Let's invite Skepta Brits - let's mute him when he swears
Jessie Ware also tweeted this.
Being PUSSIES @itv
What is weirder still is that Dermot said "everyone go batshit crazy for Skepta" seconds earlier, which was just broadcast after the watershed.

Dermort literally said "shit" and Skepta can't say "pussy" smh. #brits
At last year's Brit Awards, ITV bleeped a fair amount of Adele's acceptance speech due to her swearing, but accidentally did not bleep her saying the word "fuck." As a result, Dec pulled this face whilst Ant was apologising for the error.

In short...
We still know the muted words ITV... 😂#shutdown #skepta #BRITs2017
