People Are As Mad As Hell With A Certain Character In That "Sherlock" Episode

OBVIOUS SPOILERS.

If you haven't seen "The Six Thatchers" yet...PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE SPOILERS BELOW.

As you can imagine, Sherlock fans were rather excited about the new episode debuting tonight.

And then the episode was shown. It was all pleasant enough...the first usual episode in THREE YEARS.

Until Mary was shot in the stomach by Ammo in front of her husband Watson.

And died.

The internet was naturally THRILLED.

Sea Life Centre is officially ruined. #Sherlock

That's it, 2017 is already worse than 2016 #Sherlock

The whole issue is so much more complex, because earlier in the episode Watson met a woman at a bus stop. She gave him her number.

And. He. Did. Not. Shut. It. Down.

OH MY GOD.

full offence but that was NOT john watson in that episode. john would NEVER cheat on his wife #Sherlock

THEN there's the fact that Watson is mad at Sherlock and that their friendship is now in tatters.

And why is Sherlock to blame in all this?

me: i love john watson john: texts another woman while married, gets irrationally angry at sherlock, blames and pushes him away me: boy STOP

Not Mary's dead made me cry, but the fact that John is mad at Sherlock. I understand his grief, but it's not Sherlock's fault. #Sherlock

mary's death wasn't sherlock's fault !!!! he was prepared to take the bullet and mary jumped in front of him in the last second fuck

Plot twist: Moriarty was dressed as a shark in the tank #Sherlock

Audience: "I like how Sherlock solves crimes" BBC: "Watson's wife is James Bond now" Audience: "but" "You heard"

THEN THERE'S THIS MOMENT.

John Watson really crossed a moral line for me when he exited a London bus through the FRONT DOOR. #Sherlock

Oh, and there's the fact that this wasn't the most straightforward episode of Sherlock.

OH, AND THIS MOMENT AT THE END.

It's oh so confusing.

Oh lordy what an episode.

RIP Mary Morstan. You were fun. We had a blast, didn't we? #sherlock
