In the latest episode of Doctor Who, the Doctor was faced with a breakdown in the ceasefire between humans and the extremist faction of an alien race that has been living secretly on Earth. He then came out with a speech that sums up all wars.

He had engineered a war game so that both humans and the aliens believed that they had a 50% chance of winning or losing, entirely at random. This led to the accusation of playing games.

The episode aired last Saturday and a lot of people are still raving about it.

This is what we should be teaching children. The true reality of war, there is no winners. Doctor Who, take notes.

And how applicable this argument is to all wars.

One of the most eloquent analysis I've heard of why war makes no sense - and from a children's show! #DoctorWho

Btw last night's #DoctorWho anti-war speech was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Several world leaders need Peter Capaldi all up in their face "SIT. DOWN. AND. TALK."

Peter Capaldi spoke the words of my heart tonight. He reminded us of the true victims of war, the children. #doctorwho

The ultimate anti-war speech. #DoctorWho
