We're halfway through the year – so what 2018 shows would you recommend to others to watch?
Here are some of my favourites: The Staircase, a fascinating and gripping series documenting the trial of Michael Peterson, which was filmed over more than 15 years.
Tap America: How a Nation Found Its Feet is also a favourite – an insightful BBC documentary about how, despite the popularity of tap in 1930s America, people of colour were often excluded from star roles.
And then there's Queer Eye, for its sheer positivity and engaging and heartfelt discussion on important topics, and for the show's overall message: encouraging men to be open about their feelings and what they are currently going through.
