WE ARE NOT GOING TO REVEAL WHO WON IN THIS ARTICLE.

So, guys, Prue Leith just tweeted who apparently will be the winner of this year's Bake Off:

Twitter

We have photoshopped the tweet so we don't spoil the surprise, but Channel 4 did confirm to BuzzFeed News that the tweet was authentic.

According to the Press Association, Leith is in Bhutan and tweeted the name of the winner because she got her timezones mixed up. She said: "I'm in Bhutan. The time difference is massive. I thought that they got it six hours ago. I'm in too much of a state to talk about it. I fucked up."

The tweet was deleted only minutes after it was posted, but Twitter picked up on it straight away.

And many people are wondering what Mary Berry's reaction to all this is right now.

Prue Leith has now tweeted an apology, which was also retweeted by Channel 4's publicity Twitter account.

I am so sorry to the fans of the show for my mistake this morning, I am in a different time zone and mortified by my error #GBBO.

If you don't want to know who won, don't go on Twitter.
