Romney Misquotes George Costanza

In his opening remarks at the Arizona debate, Mitt Romney stepped on his own applause and tried to throw in a Seinfeld reference for cover. Unfortunately, he got the quote and the speaker wrong.

Romney, tonight at the Arizona debate (one he's used before:

"What's the George Costanza line? When they're applauding, you sit down..."

The actual quote (from "Seinfeld" episode 172, "The Burning"):

JERRY: Showmanship, George. When you hit that high note, you say goodnight and walk off.

I mostly like old, unpopular things, like from 2002. I'm also 102 years old.
