Mark Zuckerberg — in an awkward announcement that included a long story about his girlfriend — announced that Facebook will now allow you get a Facebook.com email address, plus track a bunch of other ways to communicate, like IM and text. Zuckerberg says it’s “not email,” but it is, and then some. Your vanity name on Facebook will become your email address, which sucks if you weren’t able to get one for your name.
Good luck, everyone!
