Peach Cinnamon Rolls
Servings: 4-6
INGREDIENTS
Rolls
2 cans premade large biscuits
2 large ripe yellow peaches
¼ cup light brown sugar
¼ cup peach jam
½ cup softened butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons heavy cream
2 tablespoons peach jam
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 350℉.
Remove biscuits from can and line up on a piece of parchment or wax paper.
Using a rolling pin, carefully flatten and roll out the biscuits to form a 12x12 inch rectangle.
Peel and thinly slice the peaches and set aside.
Combine butter, brown sugar, ¼ cup peach jam, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Carefully spread butter mixture over biscuits then top with a layer of peaches, being sure to distribute them evenly.
Using the paper as guide, carefully roll up the biscuits like a jelly roll. The roll should be about 3-4 inches in diameter.
Use a pastry cutter to make 1- 1 ½ inch slices, place them cut side down in a teflon baking pan.
Bake for 30 minutes until nicely browned and cooked through. Prepare the glaze while the rolls are baking.
Combine powdered sugar, heavy cream, and peach jam until thick and creamy.
While the rolls are still warm, cover with glaze. Serve immediately.
Enjoy!
