PREPARATION:

Plant Mosquito Repellent

1. Place potted plants around the party area to fend off mosquitoes.

2. Basil and lavender are a natural mosquito repellent.

3. Marigolds are said to repel Mexican bean beetles, squash bugs, thrips, tomato hornworms, and whiteflies.

4. Garlic plants repel Japanese beetles, weevils, fruit-tree borers, and spider mites.

Wood Chips

1. Sprinkle wood chips over bare patches of grass.

How To Clean A Cooler

1. Mix ¼ cup baking soda, ¼ cup distilled white vinegar, and 1 cup liquid dish soap in a measuring cup.

2. Pour the resulting mixture in a Non-Scratch Scotch-Brite™ Dishwand.
