1. Waking up with a burning throat.

2. Pillows, pillows, pillows.

Trying to prop your head up via three to five pillows every night and ending up slumping back down to the comfortable horizontal position by morning. Every. Night.

3. Not being able to eat the best foods anymore.

The best foods includes, but are not limited to:

Tomatoes, chocolate, alcohol, any spices at all EVER, butter, pizza, cheese, did I mention PIZZA.

4. Totally eating those foods anyways (sparingly!) because life is too short and precious.
