    1. Remington Wet2Waves Styler dries and waves your hair at the same time, because ain't nobody got time for blow drying and curling as separate steps.

    Just make sure to at least towel dry your hair a bit beforehand and to use heat protectant!

    Promising review: "It does exactly what it promises to do: give you a head full of beachy curls and waves while drying your hair at the same time. It heats up very quickly, is easy to use, and takes my wet, straight hair from blah to amazing in way less time than it would take me to blow dry and then curl. It has temperature control and automatic shutoff, too. I am very careful with my hair (it's almost waist length and very fine, thin, and straight). Even when and after using this product I don't have a single split end or any problems with frizz or dryness, but I make sure to also use hair oils (like Vatika) as deep conditioner, the right shampoo, and a heat protectant all over. I think this is a steal and couldn't be made any better!" —PZio

    Get it from Amazon for $22.50. There's also a flat iron version for $19.68+.

    2. Sephora Collection Beauty Amplifier Universal Lip Liner goes on totally clear, so you don't have to worry about silly things like matching your liner up with your lipstick shade, while *also* ensuring that your lip color doesn't bleed — a win-win, my friends!

    Promising review: "Does what it claims to — prevents my lipstick from feathering. I usually have the problem with my bold, bright reds but this lip liner helps me avoid a mess." —SlySionnach

    Get it from Sephora for $10.

    3. Orly Gel FX Easy-Off Base Coat lessens the damage of gel manicures because it basically creates a barrier between your nail and potent gel colors, so removal is a total breeze that doesn't require soaking your nails in acetone for approximately a million years.

    @orlynails / Via, @orlynails / Via

    Promising review: "This is the best stuff!!! I use it at my salon and it is quick, and after it soaks and you remove the foils, it literally pops off the nail. You can blow on it! That's how easily it comes off. And the biggest bonus, NO DAMAGE TO THE NAIL!" —Serena

    Get it from Amazon for $10.28.

    4. Blithe Soothing & Healing Green Tea Splash Mask is the ultimate lazy-but-ingenious skincare hack: all it takes is splashing and patting for 15 seconds right in the shower for gentle toning, exfoliation, and hydration.

    @myblithe / Via

    Promising review: "What is this witchcraft?? Let me tell you, it's amazing. Not only do I enjoy using this mask, it has changed my skin...100% for the better. My skin is clearer, more hydrated, less oily, balanced, and glowing. I am currently a student in esthetician school and I've had fellow students, teachers and administrators compliment my skin. (The weekly facials don't hurt either, but this mask made the most drastic difference in a shorter amount of time.). It is refreshing, has evened out my skin, and reduced old acne scars." —heather1117

    Get it from Sephora for $45 (also available in Energy Yellow Citrus & Honey).

    5. Lay N' Go Cosmetic Bags solve the extremely perplexing dilemma of "why does my makeup collection always look like an avalanche?" in an easy lay-out-and-drawstring-up fashion.

    Lay N' Go / Via

    Did I mention it only weighs a few ounces on its own, it's washable, and there's a li'l zipper pocket on the inside for any other necessities? Looove it.

    Promising review: "I travel weekly for work and I used to use the tray from the coffee center or ice bucket for my makeup because it was too difficult to find and use my makeup straight from the bag. This is just perfect! I just open the bag and everything is organized; when I'm ready to leave, I do a quick zip of the cord and it's all packed up." —Shan Day

    Get them from Amazon for $26.96+ (12 colors).

    6. Cover FX Custom Cover Drops know the struggle of being in between foundation shades (winter = pale central) or wanting light coverage that's just between tinted moisturizer and foundation — just drop, drop, drop until you achieve your desired outcome/intensity!

    @coverfx / Via

    P.S. You can also add a few drops to other liquid products like oils, serums, or creams for a ~radiant finish~.

    Promising review: "I'm one of those people that constantly tries and hates foundations: either the formula or the color is always wrong. This, on the other hand, is perfection. So many color options that I was able to match one to myself perfectly and the coverage is completely customizable. I either mix this (two to three drops) with the Cover FX Calming Primer (for a really light, no-makeup finish) or with my BareMinerals Tinted Moisturizer and a tiny bit of the primer for something heavier." —Aneechka89

    Get them from Sephora for $22 each (originally $44; 16 shades).

    7. Shadow Shields plop right underneath your eyes to prevent messy fallout situations — so go crazy with the sparkles and glitter! — and help draw out perfectly sharp cat eyes (better than tape too, IMO)!

    Promising review: "So glad I found these! I've always had trouble with fallout under my eyes, even with good brushes and high-quality makeup. Some palettes have colors with fallout, some don't, but now I don't have to worry about that at all. I can do my foundation first and THEN my eye makeup — I hated having to wipe away shadow from my cheeks and apply more concealer. I'll be buying more boxes of these." —Tasha

    Get a box of 30 from Amazon for $9.

    8. Sigma Beauty SigMagic Scrub combines your beloved solid cleanser (formulated with virgin coconut oil) with textured silicone bristles and mini suction cups on the bottom so you can swirl, rinse, and be on your way.

    Dare I say it makes brush cleaning less of a drag??? Reaching for (and cleaning) a separate silicone mat is such a pain (especially for lazy me).

    Get it from Nordstrom for $19.

    9. Smashbox Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer's clear formula transforms your fave cream/glossy lipsticks into velvety matte dreamboats, so they actually stay put throughout a major chow-down.

    Promising review: "Where has this stuff been all my life? As someone who can't stand glossy, shiny lips, this is the most amazing product I've ever purchased. No need to worry about the finish when buying lipstick anymore, because this stuff will turn anything matte. I squeeze a little out of the tube and apply using my finger. It feels a little thick when you first apply it, but not sticky. Can't recommend it highly enough!" —blueeyes133

    Get it from Sephora for $24.

    10. Lime Crime Unicorn Hair finally lets everyone (yes, even dark-stranded, brunette babes) in on the semi-permanent, full-coverage dye fun with a magical concoction that packs hella color into your strands with beautiful, natural fade-out. Plus, they're cruelty-free and vegan (as the unicorns would want!).

    Personal experience alert: I'm super skeptical of temporary dyes because, while my hair is bleached blonde, it's many-months-old bleach and for some reason that, to my utter dismay, makes it not take temporary color very easily. And because of this, I opted for one of their "full coverage" colors, Bubblegum Rose and let me tell ya, it was vibrant and BRIGHTTTT. So much that I could've gotten a more muted pink, which was what I originally wanted. But regardless, the color totally took and gave me lovely pink-dyed ends that got all the compliments. Love!

    Get one from Amazon (14 shades) or Lime Crime for $16 each (available in 20 shades).

    11. Or more an *even more* temporary option, Kristin Ess Rose Gold Temporary Tint sprays onto pre-lightened or blonde hair right in the shower (or slightly towel-dried hair for a more intense pink) for fairy-like hair that's the definition of no commitment.

    @kristin_ess / Via, @kristin_ess / Via

    A lot of reviewers do point out application's a bit messy, so even if you're applying the tint to towel-dried hair, do it in the shower!

    Promising review: "Gave a blush/rose gold color to my blond balayage that I absolutely love. And it really did wash away after only a couple shampoos. I’d normally never touch temporary color products like this, but I knew I could trust this line to not harm my color." —Melissa

    Get it exclusively from Target for $12.

    12. It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil works for every brow shade — its base color starts off as taupe, but simply apply softer strokes for lighter shades or add pressure for darker tones.

    Promising review: "I have been using this pencil, as well as other IT products, for several months now. I highly recommend it. It does what it says, very natural looking, matches brow color, stays on, the brush end is soft and smooth. I have one brow that is less dense than the other and I can fill it in and have smooth looking, natural brows. Color really is universal, amazing. I put it on in the morning and never have to retouch it all day." —dkm03

    Get it from Sephora for $24.

    13. Sphynx Portable Razors combine three functions in one portable, twistable wheel: a refillable spray bottle to wet the relevant area, a moisturizing pre-shave bar to lather up with, and two razor blades to do the deed with.,

    Promising review: "Since I have a toddler at home, I am rushed to do everything and that includes shaving, so I am always missing spots. I could not have bought this at a better time! I am currently out of town and brought the product with me, and I've used it a few times for all the spots I have seemed to missed 😒. Very handy and helpful!" —Ronie

    Get them from Amazon for $17.99 each (available in two colors).

    14. For those who want to stay covered at the gym, Sweat Cosmetics Mineral Foundation is sweat- and water-resistant for up to 80 minutes! The gentle, non-comedogenic formula contains Vitamin E and zinc oxide applied via antibacterial brush bristles.

    15. Winky Lux 24kt Glimmer Balm reacts with your lips' natural pH levels to bless your pout with the perfect coconut-scented shade of pink, along with a hint of gold! And whaddya know, by totally legit association, it also just won a Grammy. #thanksbruno

    @winkylux / Via, Winky Lux / Via

    Promising review: "It not only goes well for an all-out night on the town but I can also use it for a little bit of sheen at the gym because I really hate going out anywhere and having my lips feel so naked, and this for sure makes the cut!" —Ada P.

    Get it from Winky Lux for $16.

    16. E.L.F. Makeup Remover Pen makes mistakes disappear with a few flicks of the wrist (and with great precision) so gone are the days you have to sacrifice and restart a completely made-up eye for one little misshapen eyeliner or mascara smudge sitch!

    Promising review: "I order several of these at a time so I always have one on reserve. I clean the tip with a damp cloth or the clean corner of a makeup remover wipe after each use to prolong its life. I never want to be without this pen ever again." —grndma

    Get it from E.L.F. for $3.

    17. Drybar Double Standard Cleansing + Conditioning Foam is a godsend for people who are always on the go. It's a space- and time-saving bottle of practically weightless gel-foam that simultaneously cleans and conditions so you can wash in a flash and be on your merry way!

    Volcanic ash absorbs residue from styling products and lifts away environmental pollutants, while raspberry seed oil saturates your strands with ultra-light moisture with zero weighing down. YAS.

    Promising review: "I work out pretty hard five times a week on average and have thick and super long hair. I often stress about how to clean my hair or at least make my hair feel cleaner on a regular basis, but not anymore. This product is deceptively amazing. I felt like the strange texture would have no effect on my hair, but I was pleasantly surprised! My hair smells and feels clean but doesn't feel heavy, dried out, or totally stripped of its natural oils. It is gentle, though the instructions suggest using 'regular' shampoo and conditioner every two to four washes. I have needed something like this for FOREVER. I am already ordering more!" —DallasPA

    Get it from Nordstrom for $13+.

    18. IGK Foamo Holographic Hair Foam blesses you with the sparkly mermaid or unicorn hair of your dreams — it's a snap to apply and brush through your hair, and then bam, you've got shade-shifting, iridescent magic that'll make everyone's jaw drop and say, "WOW.", Sarah Han / BuzzFeed

    Promising review: "I’m a sucker for temporary hair colors and this is by far the best! A little goes a long way. I applied it with a makeup brush and was able to paint it on easily. Once it dried, I layered more on for a more intense metallic finish. My hair is pretty dark and you could totally see the color!!! It looked totally different later in the day when I brushed it out a bit — I had subtle blue/purple highlights. Next time I might add some Sutro (purple) spray on other pieces for a more intense look. #noboringhairever" —jayem518

    Get it from Sephora for $22 (two shades).

    19. Lancôme Matte Shaker Liquid Lipsticks contain a delightful water-in-oil emulsion cocktail for your lips and the results are both stunning and comfortable — hello, weightless pigments that don't sacrifice boldness, a matte and long-wearing finish, and the discomfort/drying out of your lips.

    @lancomeofficial / Via

    I love these! The act of shaking and sponge design itself absorbs the perfect amount of product to coat your lips without having to "refill," which I can't say for a lot of liquid lipsticks, and the pointed tip makes it so easy and quick to apply within your lip lines.

    Promising review: "It's super pigmented, long-lasting, and surprisingly easy to apply. The first time I applied it I went out to dinner within a few hours and it stayed on throughout my meal, through drinks, etc. until the end of the night. One of my favorite things about it is how comfortable it feels on my lips! So many matte liquid lipsticks I've used are pretty drying, but this one isn't at all. It feels like velvet going on and stays feeling soft and light. I'll definitely be buying more shades of this product." —Katie23

    Get them from Lancôme for $22 each (26 shades).

    20. Urban Decay All Nighter Pollution Protection is a must-have for city dwellers who are exposed to pollution basically 24/7 (oh, joys!). It contains a blend of powerful minerals like zinc, magnesium, and copper that guard your presh skin against free radicals and environmental hazards, while also setting your makeup for all-day flawlessness.

    @urbandecaycosmetics / Via

    And if that weren't enough, UD setting sprays are the only ones on the market to have patented, time-release Temperature Control Technology that lowers the temperature of your makeup over time to help it last longer. No more midday makeup melt off. YESSSS.

    Promising review: "Same beloved formula we have come to know and love, with the addition of zinc, magnesium, and copper. I’m obsessed! Win, win, and win.

    Promising review: "I was never the kind of person to wear (or care about) sunscreen on a daily basis, but I was HOOKED from the second I put this on. First, the smell...I don't know why, but I love the smell. Upon first application, I was worried that my skin would become greasy and oily. That is not the case and I actually found that it made my skin dewy with a glow-from-within look. I wore it every day until it ran empty. I don't wear makeup and there are plenty of times where I would wake up, slather some of this on, and leave for the day; my skin wouldn't be greasy! My sister wears full-coverage makeup every day and I got her a bottle as well — she said that applying it before (or as) a primer actually helped her makeup set better! 10/10 would recommend!!" —YaGirlSar

    23. Design.Me PowerDry.Me shaves 50% off of your blow dry time by forming a lubricious thin layer around your hair fibers so water molecules aren't trapped and excess water “beads” out — it's time to regain those minutes back (and maybe catch a few more zzz's)! 🙌 / Via

    Promising review: "After coating my strands from root to tip with leave-in conditioner, I spray a generous amount of this blow dry spray. It’s super lightweight and doesn’t affect my styling technique or the weight of my hair. And I’m pleased to report that it’s consistently cut my dry time down from 10-11 minutes to 5-6 minutes. The first two times I thought it was a total fluke. But then by the third time I was convinced. Granted, I spend a lot of time poking around on Twitter or listening to podcasts when I get ready in this mornings, but this could free up a snooze cycle if you just don’t want to get out of bed." —Elizabeth Lilly

    Get it from Design.Me for $10+, Walmart for $13.49, or Amazon for $18.82.

    24. Shhhowercap might actually make you fall in love with shower caps. Why? It's made out of a premium nanotech fabric that's strong and secure enough to hold and keep every damn strand dry, quiet as can be (no more shower stream pounding noises!), washable/antibacterial, and dare we say ~fashionable~! (We do.)

    Promising review: "I got this shower cap about a year ago and it's literally changed my life. I went from being a five-days-a-week blow dryer down to two days. I used to avoid going to the gym on a good hair day just so I wouldn't have to deal with the bottom of my head getting wet because my shower cap would fail, resulting in those annoying curly hairs. But not Shhhowercap. This thing SERIOUSLY works. It stays in place, covers your whole head no matter how much hair you have, and it's actually enjoyable to put on — it made me realize that my hair deserves more than a plastic bag. I love that the pattern/fabric/style goes with the rest of the vibe in my bathroom, so I actually put it on display." —StephK89

    Get one from Sephora for $43 (12 colors/patterns).
