Hong Kong's Clockenflap Festival Is Asia’s Answer To Coachella

Artists from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, the U.S., UK, Canada, etc. — plus art installations and an incredible view of a bustling urban skyline? Can't be beat.

If you like music festivals and you’re looking to add another stamp to your passport, why haven’t you checked out Hong Kong’s annual music festival, Clockenflap?

It's located at Central Harbourfront Event Space, which gives you a stunning 360-degree view of the skyline across Victoria Harbor, towards the iconic Victoria Peak, and every angle in between. What more could you ask for?

There are six stages in total — with Harbourflap Stage as the main stage for the ~highest profile~ artists.

FWD Stage will showcase a wide spectrum of genres from artists across the world, while YOURMUM STAGE BY RED BULL will feature up-and-coming indie and electronic bands. Silent Disco powered by FWD MAX lets you dance away to the beat of your favorite international and local DJs (via headphones and different stations) while admiring the views around you, creating a simultaneously personal and collective experience!

Two stages, Acorn / Robot and Club MAX by FWD will convert from family-friendly entertainment and branded activations during the daytime into electronica and DJ-driven stages at night, respectively.

And if you're lucky, you may catch your fave artist performing right in the crowd! Talk about an immersive experience.

And of course, there's no shortage of local Hong Kong and broadly Asian acts, like GDJYB, Cifika, Cocoonics, Anpu, 9M88, and Bohan Phoenix.

There are also a ton of interactive installations and ~roving surprises~ — which Clockenflap is well known for — including Balloon Chain, a popular mainstay at Coachella and Burning Man.

This year's lineup also includes: The Nose Knows, a mysterious, olfactory-inspired installation; Lotus Temple, a six-meter high inflatable structure inspired by the lotus flower and Goa, India; and Be•a•ring, a unique interactive experience and chill out zone made from rotating columns and optically illusive mirrors.

And plenty of unique, hands-on experiences to be had in the beauty, art, fashion, and food arenas!
