    You can either apply it straight to your scalp/hair (leaving it in for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinsing) or mix it into your shampoo, conditioner, or mask. Adding other oils, like jojoba, can help lessen the intensity of the menthol in peppermint oil. And for people with especially sensitive scalps, peppermint's antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory characteristics can also help with dryness and itching!
