The Best Backstage Instagrams From The 2019 Golden Globes
If you didn't 'gram it, did it really happen?
1. Sandra Oh showed off her adorable parents all spiffy-ed up for their Golden Globes debut on her story.

2. Ken Jeong snapped a photo of Sandra Oh doing her co-hosting thing after receiving her award for Best Actress in a TV Drama — a momentous occasion to say the least.
3. Michelle Yeoh was very excited, as one should be, about sitting at the same table as Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga — so much that she even shared an onscreen photo of the two with her in the background (swipe right!).
She stunned in an emerald-themed ensemble, complete with the very same emerald ring that Nick used to propose to Rachel with in Crazy Rich Asians (yep, she loaned her own ring)!!!
4. Constance Wu showed off her gorgeous custom Vera Wang gown (nude tulle, sheer corset bodice, and an orange velvet ribbon — I'm literally dead) in an elegant elevator shot.
5. Gemma Chan reminded us that she's basically a real life princess (like, is that actually you, Astrid??) with a preview of her ocean blue Valentino gown, complete with a back bow and flowing train, and Forevermark diamond earrings (which Sandra Oh also wore!), and classic red lip.
6. Darren Criss showed off his dashing floral Dior suit, which got its chance to ~fully shine~ on stage when the actor won Best Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie.
7. William Jackson Harper gave us a glance into his pre-Globes beauty routine, aka eye masks for his bags from not getting enough sleep and being too stressed out (from trying to get into The Good Place, I'd imagine).
8. Heidi Klum shared a cool time-lapse of her glam squad werkin' hard to get her red carpet ready.
9. Rachel Brosnahan (who has now won *back-to-back* awards for Best Actress in a Television Series for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel!!) also gave her all-girl styling team an appreciative and well-deserved shoutout. #cute
10. Winners unite! Taraji P. Henson snagged a proud selfie with the newly-anointed Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture, Regina King.
P.S. In her speech, Regina vowed that all of the projects she produces will be staffed by 50% women, so YOU GO GIRL.
11. Timothée Chalamet looked adoringly at his momma while sporting his custom Louis Vuitton suit designed by Virgil Abloh — I can't handle it.
12. Kristen Bell debated which glamorous, but blister-inducing, heels to pair with her pale pink Zuhair Murad gown.
13. And then accessorized her dress with a pair of classily tucked-in napkins and hubby Dax Shepard.
14. Alison Brie let us admire her ethereal-looking hair and sparkly baby blue lids close up, as well as part of her stunning blue tulle Vera Wang dress designed with an 1000x more stunning hand-embroidered crystal and pearl bustier. *heart eyes*
15. Amber Heard made us "ooh" and "ahh" at her stunning side profile, including but not limited to an old-glamour-inspired blowout, bronzey highlighter, and gold drop earrings.
16. Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, and Danai Gurira basically won the InStyle elevator videos with their makeout renditions.
17. Lupita made sure we could see her elegant blue-themed lewk from all the angles, because she gives the people what they want!
Never getting over Lupita's beautiful blue lashes BTW!!!
18. Danai Gurira shared that her custom Rodarte dress was inspired by Zimbabwe's national flower, the Flame Lily — and dang, what a vision:
In the third pic, you can see that she accessorized her bedazzled clutch with a Time's Up ribbon.
19. Harry Shum Jr. didn't disappoint with a reel of snaps with his famous friends from Crazy Rich Asians (including the iconic Lisa Lu!!), Shadowhunters, and even Glee (Lea, my heart!).
20. Lena Waithe blessed us with a selfie starring none other than Halle Berry, her costar on an upcoming BET show called "Boomerang."
21. Speaking of Halle, the 2000 GG winner showed off her stunning close-up of her collection of Roberto Coin ~golden~ rings:
HAND. MODEL.
22. Kamilah — I mean — Jameela Jamil wowed at her first Golden Globes with a strapless Monique Lhuillier number and makeup done by herself, because she's a queen!
23. Melissa McCarthy shared an entire collage of her getting-ready process, which included a dreamy star-studded Reem Acra (for 11 Honoré) dress, lots of stylist touchups, and an obligatory face mask.
Since a lot of people miss dinner by the time they get into the ballroom (dinner is served before the televised portion starts to avoid the sound of silverware clinking around), Melissa kind-of-secretly gave out ham sandwiches to other guests, which officially makes her MVP of the night.
