I just moved into my first real, adult apartment with my girlfriend (PRAISE US). And it’s been pretty great. The only thing is… she’s got luscious, beautiful hair just like me.

Enter: Our shower drain. And tbh, it’s pretty gross. Who knows how much hair is down there? And it might not be just ours—it could be the hair of the old tenants. *shudders*

I can't think of a more disgusting, stomach-turning chore than cleaning out a clogged drain.

I picked this shower catcher because 1) it was the cutest looking of all of the options, 2) it’s pretty cheap, and 3) it has more than 10,000 reviews which is usually a good sign!

How it works: Pop it into any standard 1.5” drain shower tub drain and shower away!

It does all the work for you. Once it's in place, it will trap all the stray hair trying to sneak down the drain, and collect it neatly around the 'Shroom. All you have to do is clean it every two weeks or so!

The result?

Success! And it was much more SATISFYING than I ever thought possible! (Pssst! You’re about to see photos of gross hair clumps full of shampoo! Don’t say I didn’t warn you.)

*This is after about 1.5 weeks. Like I said, we've got long hair! *shrug*

Here’s a quick rundown of what I loved most about it:

* It’s so simple to install. You just pop it in the shower tub drain and you’re good to go.

* There aren’t any straggler hairs hanging around the drain anymore. All the hair is collected out of view!

* It takes approximately two seconds to clean. I just remove the hair with a piece of toilet paper and toss it in the garbage. LATER, GROSS HAIR CLUMP! LOSE MY NUMBER!
