I use blue light-blocking glasses everyday at work, and they've significantly helped my eyes and headaches. I used to get so stressed sitting in front of a computer because I knew I'd feel terrible in about two hours flat. With the glasses, I can focus more on work and not on the mega-migraine that's (no longer) approaching.

I used one of these from July 2018 and it didn't get smelly until March 2019 — a full NINE MONTHS — and I think it was only because I started to slack on my sponge hygiene. (Granted, I live alone, have a dishwasher, and tend to tackle my messiest dishes with these plastic scrapers before I scrub them with my soapy sponge. But I've NEVER seen a regular sponge last that long.)
This is my basic sponge hygiene: 1) always rinse it out completely so there isn't any food left sitting on it and 2) when you're done washing your dishes, squeeze it out well and leave it somewhere it will actually dry.

I own these containers and absolutely love them. They keep my produce fresh five times longer than normal plastic containers. I can now store strawberries and blueberries for longer than a week and not feel incredibly guilty about not eating them in time. By the second week, they are still fresh!
Get them from Amazon Canada for $28.49 (available in various sizes and in packs).

Because it fits over the car's seat belt holster, it moves along with the seat as they adjust it — which means they can stuff it in and forget about it, at least until it saves a half-eaten lollipop from disappearing into the abyss.

Read our full review of the Philips wake-up light alarm clock!
Here's an excerpt: "I've been using this alarm + bedside lamp combo since last October, and I can't understate how wonderful it is to wake up ~peacefully~ every morning...and fall asleep more easily every night. There are only two alarm sound options: a radio station of your choice and a set of 'gentle wake-up sounds' that seemed a little too peaceful to actually get me out of bed.
I've never needed that backup alarm. Here's why: No matter what the sun is doing that day, I get a sunrise in my room, perfectly timed to my schedule. The sounds help a little, but the light does most of the work. It starts getting brighter, slowly, before the alarm goes off, which my body reads as the beginnings of the sunrise. By the time the birds start singing, I'm already most of the way awake, and the light's bright enough that (after a few minutes scrolling through my phone) I just... get out of bed." —Natalie Brown
