Having found myself on the singles scene for the first time since the early 2000's (and my mid-twenties) I was thrust into the world of online dating, which has evolved faster than an iPhone can update itself. The last time I was single, Match.com was just coming out on the scene and changing the way people date, but I still preferred the old-fashioned way of meeting IRL through my network. So after 14 years of marriage and absolutely no idea what I was doing, I embarked on the Tinder train with the other 3.5mm daily users worldwide.
