If College Students Had Their Own Snapchat Filters

Hello students, welcome to Snapchat 101.

1. The "Trying To Pick A Major" Filter:

When to use it: When you can't decide whether you should be an English or Political Science major. But wait, your mom wants you to go pre-med! Although wouldn't a business major be practical? GAHHH, this decision is making your head spin!

2. The "Pulling Another All-Nighter" Filter:

When to use it: You're stuck in the library procrastinating by refreshing Facebook when you should be writing that paper. The bags under your eyes are...alarming, and you're chugging coffee like your life depends on it.

3. The "Gourmet Dorm Eating" Filter:

When to use it: When you've been surviving solely on ramen noodles and microwave pizza for an entire semester.

4. The "I'm Stuck Doing A Group Project" Filter:

When to use it: You're stuck in a group project, and you're *THAT* person who's going to be getting all the work done. It's causing you to prematurely go gray, and you're throwing the rest of your group some major side-eye.

5. The "I Didn't Do The Reading But Let's Pretend I Did" Filter:

When to use it: You skipped the required reading from the night before to go to a house party, so you asked the person who sits next to you in class what you missed. Naturally, you're trying to bullshit your hardest to prove to your professor you did in fact do the reading.

6. The "Begging My Professor To Raise My Grade" Filter:

When to use it: If your professor raises your semester grade two points your GPA goes from a B+ to an A-. Naturally you have to throw on your strongest puppy dog eyes and pout, head to office hours, and beg for them to raise that grade.

7. The "Hungover At My 9 A.M. Class" Filter:

When to use it: Going out on a Wednesday *SEEMED* like a fun idea the night before, but you're paying the price come Thursday morning when you have that early morning class. Forget paying attention; you're just trying not to projectile vomit in the front row.

8. The "Crap, It's Finals Week" Filter:

When to use it: You've got four final exams and two term papers, and naturally you leave it all to the very end to get started. You turn into a one-person studying factory, churning out papers and studying like your life depends on it, grades be damned.

9. The "My Student Loans Are Fucking Me Up" Filter:

When to use it: Oh, you didn't think that diploma would be free, did you? It's the most expensive piece of paper you'll ever pay for...although it's totally worth it. Honestly, fuck student loans!

10. And finally, the "I Sunk The Last Cup In Beer Pong" Filter:

When to use it: OK, so grades and learning are important and all, but nothing beats hanging out with your friends, and sinking the last cup to win it all in beer pong. After a few cans of shitty beer, you've got wicked aim. Bullseye!
