Here's What "The Parent Trap" Cast Looks Like 20 Years After The Premiere

They have class, and you don't.

Every '90s kid's FAVORITE movie The Parent Trap premiered 20 years ago on July 29, 1998. It introduced us to everything from Lindsay Lohan to the iconic flavor combination of Oreos and peanut butter. Here's what the cast looks like today!

Lindsay Lohan as Annie James and Hallie Parker

    Slaven Vlasic

Fun Fact: Mischa Barton was initially up for the role of Annie and Hallie, but Lohan was the filmmakers' favorite.

Fun Fact: When Elaine Hendrix walked in for audition for Meredith Blake, Quaid was so struck by her presence that he mouthed, "Are you kidding?!" to the filmmakers.

    Disney, Jemal Countess

Fun Fact: Even though they're enemies in the movie, Elaine Hendrix is BFFs with Lisa Ann Walter (Chessy) in real life!

Fun Fact: Chessy is named after a decorator who once worked for Nancy Meyers, the director of the movie.

    Simon Kunz as Martin

    Disney, BBC

Fun Fact: Simon Kunz made up the movie's famous handshake with Lindsay Lohan from scratch!

Maggie Wheeler as Marva Kulp Jr.

Fun Fact: Wheeler is probably better known as Janice from Friends, but she says when people recognize her in public, they usually do the hand gesture her character makes when she sends Annie and Hallie to isolation.

Sadly, Natasha Richardson (Elizabeth James) and Ronnie Stevens (Charles James) have passed away since the movie was released.

Richardson died in 2009 and James died in 2006.

    And some fun extra credit...

Michael Lohan as the boy who mistakenly ended up at the all-girls Camp Walden

Fun Fact: Lindsay's mom and siblings also had a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo at the airport when Martin Picks up Hallie (pretending to be Annie).

Erin Mackey as Lindsay Lohan's body double

Fun Fact: Mackey would go on to be a casting assistant on the TV show Gossip Girl.

And finally, Kat Graham as a Camp Walden camper

Fun Fact: Graham says she listened to a lot of Sugar Ray and Hanson during the film shoot, because Lohan was "obsessed with them."
