For her 44th birthday, Koko got to meet these baby kittens! She took such gentle care when hugging her new pals because she already loved them very much.
She wanted to play with them right away!
She completely loves and cares for them as she would children of her own.
The Gorilla Foundation hopes that footage and images of Koko playing with them will help people understand that these endangered creatures need our support to protect them.
