the black and gold mask chain attached to a black non-medical mask
    Snuggles & Peanut / Etsy

Snuggles & Peanut is a small business based in Boston, Massachusetts that sells beautifully crafted bracelets and mask chains. The best thing about this awesome shop is that they donate 50% of all profits! Currently, they're donating 50% of profits to the GLAD until December 30, 2021. Some of the organizations they've donated to in the past include Give India (to help fight their second COVID-19 surge), KIND (Kids In Need of Defense), and their elementary school to help them purchase diverse, anti-racist books in support of BLM.

I bought this mask chain last year, and loved it so much, I bought one for my mom and she loves it, too! I love that it's pretty, but the colors are simple enough that they pair well with most of my masks/outfits — because TBH, I love coordinating my outfits with my masks. Gotta have some fun with it, right?! It's the perfect length, it's sturdy, and it just makes taking my mask on and off easier (and cleaner) than simply throwing my mask onto a dirty surface or getting lost in my bag.

Get it from Snuggles & Peanut on Etsy for $9.95 (available in two colors and five sizes).

    3. An anti-fog spray perfect for those who are now all too familiar with the struggle of their glasses getting fogged up while wearing a mask.

A healthcare professional showing their protective eye wear is fog-free even while wearing a mask and protective face shield

Promising review: "I bought this product because wearing a face mask makes my glasses fog, even with the metal strip to form around the bridge of my nose. It works all day with only one application, unless I have been doing a lot of activity, then I might have to re-apply. Just spray it on the clean lenses of your glasses then wipe dry with a clean dry lintless cloth, as simple as that. I was so impressed that I gave my second bottle to my team members for them to use. Delivery was fast. I highly recommend this product from this company. I would not hesitate to buy this again when I need more in the future." —Tonya Crippen

Get it from Amazon for $9.55.

    4. Soundproof door strips to get if you're someone whose bedroom currently doubles as a home office with "co-workers" (aka roomies, family members, and pets) who tend to be kinda noisy. These also help prevent cold air escape in the summer and warmth escape in the winter, so you can save energy, too!

Promising review: "Product works really well! I needed a quick fix to my home office situation. I live in an apartment in Manhattan and never noticed how much sound comes in and out, until I had to be on conference calls working from home! This little tape made a big difference, took me a couple of minutes to install." —Sandra Revueltas

    5. An adjustable, large standing desk for those who get easily tired from sitting down ALL. DAY. LONG.

dual monitors on top of the standing desk on top of a regular desk
    Amazon

Features a single-handle design so it can be easily adjusted with one hand, and without force. It has a full-sized keyboard tray with a deeper work surface to fit larger keyboards, a mouse, a mousepad, and a quick-release design so it can be easily removed when doing things that don't require a keyboard or a mouse. Plus, it has 12 different height levels!

Promising review: "I compared it to other adjustable tabletop standing desk kits and chose this one because it was wider than most. I also love that the keyboard tray is large (and detachable). Furthermore, it goes up quite high which I like because I am on the taller side. It easily adjusts to many heights, though. Another great thing about this is that the handles for adjusting the height are in the FRONT, which is nice because you don't have to bend awkwardly and hurt your back to raise it or lower it. It adjusts very fluidly without strain. It is very easy to raise or lower. I use this with a large laptop and computer monitor sitting on top and still have plenty of space in front to put a notebook should I like to take notes while working. I'm very happy with my purchase and am enjoying the benefits of being able to sit or stand as needed while working at home or even playing video games. My doctor actually recommended that I purchase one because I have low back pain and sitting for too long aggravates it. Getting up to take a break helps some, but isn't always conducive to getting a lot of work done. This makes it so I can quickly raise it, keep working, and stand for even longer periods than small breaks throughout my day." —Amanda W

Get it from Amazon for $239.99+ (available in two colors).

    21. Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser – a conditioning face wash with a cult following and for good reason = it's nice and gentle on ultra-sensitive skin, but contains the same cleaning agents found in contact lens solution so it's powerful in its abilities.

BuzzFeed Editor Ayesha Mittal holding the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser

This can either be used on dry skin to help dissolve makeup, or on wet skin to start your day. It's made of five skin conditioners to help leave your face feeling soft. It's hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested, ophthalmologist-tested, claims to be good for all skin types, noncomedogenic, cruelty-free, vegan, and soap-, paraben-, and sulfate-free. Check out our review of the amazing Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser (#2).

I have extremely sensitive skin and during the fall of 2019 experienced full face breakouts after having impetigo on my chin and finding out I have PCOS. I started taking birth control to clear up my skin and it helped a lot, but the side effects I experienced for the couple months I was on it were not-so-fun to put it mildly.

Right when I got off birth control, I was warned by a few doctors that there was a good chance my acne would come back in full force. As someone who had very little knowledge (or interest) in skin care, I wanted to create an easy daily routine for myself and I knew that started with finding a good face wash. I've always been a Cetaphil girl, but I had heard so many wonderful things about this Glossier cleanser that I decided to take the plunge and try it out.

I would best describe it Cetaphil's tough on the outside, but a softie on the inside twin. Meaning it does a better job when it comes to cleansing your face after wearing makeup or getting super sweaty (thanks to that contact lens solution being a powerful cleaning agent), but is just as gentle on the skin as Cetaphil.

Full disclaimer: I don't just use facial cleanser. My lineup of products in my skincare routine also include a Niacinamide serum, moisturizer, SPF 50, Curology, a retinoid cream, and acne patches to treat occasional zits, HOWEVER, this cleanser has absolutely played an integral role in helping to keep my skin clear since I stopped taking birth control a year and a half ago and I absolutely love it. It's so important to cleanse your face morning and night regardless if you wear makeup or not, so do yourself and your skin a favor and buy this amazing stuff!

Get it from Glossier for $9+ (available in two sizes).

    22. A zipper puller to make the near-impossible task of zipping up your dress by yourself SO EASY! FINALLY!

model using the puller to zip up a dress
A reviewer using the zipper puller to zip up the back of a dress

Promising review: "For decades I've been going through contortions to zip up zippers at the back of my dresses or tops when my husband is not on hand to help me. But recently I bought a really cute, REALLY snug (at the rib cage) jacquard dress for an upcoming event that I will dress for alone at a hotel. When I first tried it on at the store, I had to ask another customer in the dressing room to zip me up and down...there was just no way I could contort enough to do it myself. But I wanted the dress. So when I got home, I went on Amazon to see what kind of zipper puller-uppers were out there. I was hoping to spend $10-12, but after reading all the reviews I decided I had to have something that would not fail me. So I ordered the Zipuller because it had the best reviews and looked the sturdiest. It has worked every time I have used it. Even on that really snug dress. The zipper tab didn't come out of the clasp when I was zipping past the hardest part. Yay! I'm sold and won't be without it from here on out when I know I will need help." —Southern Gal

Promising review: "My husband turns a lot in his sleep and has always woken up with the fitted sheet halfway off his side of the bed. Bought these and we have NEVER once had to adjust the sheet in the morning! These are amazing! A tip for putting them on: lay the fitted sheet on top of the bed with the corners inside out (flipped up, off the mattress). Then attach these bands to each of the corners and tighten the bands. Once they are all clamped and tightened, THEN flip the corners onto the mattress. We have a pillow top 10" thick king mattress and this is the best method to get these on. Hope that helps!" —LindseyB

Promising review: "I don't want to get all gushy over a pasta maker, but man...I really love this gizmo! I try to limit my monthly food expenditures, and the Fasta Pasta helps me work in at least one inexpensive pasta meal every week, if not more. First of all, I like spaghetti, but I'm lazy and impatient and don't like things that take a long time to make, with a bunch of steps, and a big clean up afterward. The Fasta Pasta is perfect for me. I get the exact amount of correctly measured spaghetti; it's faster than boiling water in a big pot then having to watch and stir the pasta; the pasta comes out perfectly cooked every time and the cleanup is a snap. No big pot, no colander, no spaghetti fork to lift out the pasta. Just the easy-to-clean Fasta Pasta, and a pot to heat up the sauce. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!" —Smilin Sam

The silicone glasses sleeves on glasses
A person wearing glasses with the sleeves on them

Promising review: "I was a little dubious about these, but my daughter's glasses were always falling off her face and to the floor, so if I could spend a couple of bucks to save her expensive glasses, it was worth a shot. In fact, because you get five pairs, I put a set on my glasses, and I'll be darned if they don't work really well. They add a little bit of bulk to your glasses so if you're extremely fashion-conscious, it's not like tape-on-the-bridge nerdy, but it's there. But if you're more concerned about having your glasses feel like they're going to stay put on your head, then you'll like these. They aren't too thick so you don't really notice them on your ears. In fact, because of the soft silicone, they actually result in less of the occasional soreness I would get from my glasses on my ears sometimes." —Domenico Bettinelli

Promising review: "When we have so many internet addresses and passwords to remember, it gets really hard — especially when you get older and have trouble remembering what silly password you gave something. And, we are supposed to change or update passwords from time to time, so this is a great tool to help us do that. It certainly makes more sense than scribbling on a random piece of paper on your desk and then misplacing it. The trick, however, is to not misplace the book! I HIGHLY recommend this!!" —Carole P

Promising review: "Delicious iced coffee! Don’t be fooled by getting an iced coffee at Starbucks and paying almost four bucks. For less than a dollar, you can brew your own cold brew coffee at home. The best part is that cold brew has 60 percent less acid then regular coffee does. So go ahead, acid reflux sufferers: Have that second cup! I used some gourmet beans from a local coffee roaster for $15 and ground them myself. The coffee was far better than Starbucks could ever dream of making. Best of all I get three days worth of coffee for around $2 worth of beans. Pretty amazing." —Robert Klaproth

    38. Or an espresso machine, that, yes, comes with a big price tag, but it'll pay for itself over time. You'll finally be making drinks you enjoy right from the comfort of home.

Let's just say you were buying speciality coffee drinks every. single. day. from a coffee shop for $2/cup (which, let's be real, you most likely spend more than that). In a matter of a year, you would be paying more for those coffee drinks (plus the price of gas to/from) than you would for this machine. So this is an investment that will definitely pay off in the long run.

Promising review: "IMHO, the Breville Barista Express is phenomenal. I was a barista for a few years and I was used to working with a top-notch machine, and this is pretty darn close to being just as good. As someone who drinks lattes daily, I've saved SO much money by investing in this. I use these espresso beans from a small upstate New York business called SPoT Coffee and get delectably rich and smooth shots of espresso every time." —Brittany Gibson, BuzzFeed Editor

Promising review: "These babies are pretty sturdy and they make putting notes in a book, planner, magazine, or whatever, a complete breeze. I really like the ease of these and if you are creative you can make these work for any project. I use them in my textbooks to summarize my notes on a chapter. I also have short-term memory loss after a car accident, and I like reading novels, but can't remember things, so I use one of these as a bookmark, and take a few minutes to jot down key things from the book. I really, really, really like these and I am glad they exist." —Delaney
