    9. Red pepper flakes to give your dishes a nice spicy kick without being too overpowering. Ever try red pepper flakes on avocado toast? Do it. You won't regret it.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "I like crushed red pepper. I'm one of those people who will put it on pizza, almost any soup, and more. You can get crushed red pepper at a lot of different places, including those dollar stores. Because of that, people tend to think that they are all the same or there is little difference between them. Please do not buy dollar store crushed red pepper. It's usually stale, mostly seeds, and overall terrible quality. Buy this stuff instead. It's really nice quality, crushed red pepper. The bottle I got was pretty fresh and did not go overboard in terms of seeds or other fillers. If you think I'm crazy, buy a bottle of this, buy a bottle of dollar store stuff, and compare them side by side. You will see a difference. I mean physically SEE a difference. Then when you try it, you'll notice that you need to use a lot less of the Happy Belly to get the job done. When considering that, does the dollar store stuff really save you any money?" —A. Antonio

Get it from Amazon for $3.15.

    10. Sir Kensington's Chipotle Mayo that I can personally tell you is INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS. As an avid chipotle mayo fan, I have tried tons of them, heard great things about this one, and now I'll never go back. It can be mixed into rice, eggs, and meat. You can add it tacos, sandwiches, and wraps. Plus, it makes for a great dip for veggies and chips!

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "I first used this soup base at the small family restaurant where I worked. This base is amazing. You can add it to a recipe without being limited by all the salt and MSG that is in most chicken bases. The flavor is VERY good, and makes a huge improvement to the meal. Amazon

Promising review: "I love using garlic to cook and having a big jar of garlic powder is a necessity. It's extremely versatile as I can use it with anything, anywhere. I primarily use it to season my meats before I grill or bake them, but on the days I'm feeling lazy and don't want to smash some garlic, I just sprinkle this onto whatever I'm cooking instead of using the real thing." —Stop Jack

    Amazon

Promising review: "A great product. I like dates and have been eating and using them in recipes for a while, but this is the first time I've used, or even heard of, date syrup. When I first saw it I thought it was a brilliant idea, and it turns out it really is. I've used it as an alternative sweetener in various recipes and just drizzled it on straight and it's been great in every application. It works great, tastes great, and is more nutritious, too. I'll definitely be ordering more." —Scott Quirico

Get a pack of two from Amazon for $14.99.

    17. A seasoning blend you're bound to want to put on everything the first time you try it — we're talking buttered corn (even canned corn!), popcorn, veggies, meat, seafood, tacos, and potatoes.

    Trader Joe's

Promising review: "First they said add mayo to your corn and I was like ok, maybe, and I did and it was good. Then I found this and it's like an inspiration to eat corn with every meal — but don't because you will probably get an intestinal blockage.
