person holing the applicator with a false eyelash on it

Promising review: "Very easy to use and affordable. I was able to put on my lashes in no time. I can't believe I use to apply my lashes without this amazing tool. I place my lashes directly in the center and adjust the ends. My lashes go on in one minute less with this tool." —CITY Beauty

    2. A wedge doorstop that serves two important purposes: 1. it prevents your door from actually opening when you don't want it to, and 2. it sounds a loud alarm to alert you when someone is trying to open said door.

the wedge doorstop on the floor by a door

This is battery-operated — it requires a 1x9V battery, which you can get here.

Promising review: "These are fantastic and VERY loud. I put one at the front door without telling my wife while she was out. She came in, the door wouldn't open past it, and the alarm went off. Not only did it scare her, but I was napping in the den and it scared the crap out of me too! Fantastic door alarm that no one should be without in my opinion, even if you have an alarm. I travel a lot for work, and having one at the door in the room is extra peace of mind. Inexpensive enough for you to supply for your family, and even friends. Easy to use as well. Keep in mind that if you set it off, you need to pick it up and turn off manually." —Xfiler

a reviewer photo using the document clip

I have neck issues because I am constantly looking down, and this keeps my head up and makes data entry easier because it's right next to the screen. It also pivots so I can adjust the angle." —Life Is Short

    6. A to-go collapsible travel cup so you can enjoy your favorite hot beverage on-the-go, and then simply collapse and store it without worrying about it taking up space.

Promising review: "Love this cup. I was originally turned off to it due to the size of the top section; however it's not as big as it looks online and it's the perfect size. It will fit most purses but not likely women's pants pockets. After filling it with water I shook the cup and there was no leaking. Even after I finished my latte and collapsed the cup there was no residue leakage at all. The cup didn't get excessively hot either. The cup also had mL markers on the inside which is wonderful. I highly recommend this product!" —HR

Comes with an exercise guide and includes access to how-to videos to help you get started!

Promising review: "Came across this randomly while looking for something to help my dad with his arthritis. He loves it and uses it every night. Really convenient that one side is a finger massager and the other is a palm massager. They were very easy to install. My seat adjusts every time I get into the vehicle due to the memory seat settings and there has never been an issue with the Drop Stop shifting or needing readjustment. Very satisfied and I'm a tough customer." —Roni M

Get a pack of eight from Amazon for $29.99.

    11. A condiment fork perfect for attaching to the side of the pickle jar, so you can enjoy your crunchy, salty snack without dipping your hand in a pickle juice bath beforehand.

reviewer using the condiment fork to take a pickle out of the jar

    This is top-rack dishwasher-safe!

Promising review: "What a great little invention! Who knew that we needed one of these things, but what a handy little gadget to have. This comes with two rings, one that will fit a large jar of pickles and one for a small jar like the size those little sweet gherkins come in. The pickle fork thingy is easy to remove from the holder, and if you want to put it back in the holder after fishing out your pickles without rinsing it, no worries. The little pocket and the bottom can hold a lot of errant pickle juice. It works equally well on jars of olives. It makes removing an olive or two so much more...civilized!" —PT Cruiser

Get it from Amazon for $6.99.

    12. Anti-chafing thigh bands to help prevent the dreaded pain that comes anytime you basically decide to wear something that aren't pants. Plus, these are super pretty, so you don't have to worry if your dress or shorts don't cover them all the way!

reviewer wearing black lace thigh bands

Promising review: "Ladies, we can finally toss the deodorant...these things work! I was hella skeptical because my thighs are resistant to any sort of chub rub defense. I wore them while walking at least five hours at a music festival and they stayed put without me ever needing to adjust them! I couldn't believe it! My delicate inner thigh skin was preserved; not a chub-rub in sight and they're so feminine and romantic-looking that I didn't even care if someone caught a peek at that beautiful lace. Way sexier than my usual biker shorts. Love that I can wear dresses all day now without worrying about my thighs overheating." —OceanHips

Get them from Amazon for $18.95 (available in 17 styles, and sizes S—3XL).

    13. A 5-in-1 wine gadget that acts as an aerator, a stopper, a pourer, a filter, and a re-corker. I'll toast to that!

Promising review: "Throw out the others, this is the one. I have a drawer full of wine pour spouts of varying designs. Some don't fit all bottles, some leak while pouring, and some are so tall that storing upright in a refrigerator is difficult and none seal completely. This spout/stopper seals completely and lets you lay the bottle on its side. The aerator allows air to move back into the bottle while pouring to avoid the 'glug glug' effect of other pour spouts. The strainer may filter large cork pieces, but is not fine enough for sediment. The portion of the corker that fits inside the bottle has fit every bottle I've tried it in, from standard size bottles to the larger 1.5 liter bottles. It appears to be made from a flexible material that doesn't add any unwanted taste to the wine. " —Jack Dallas

Get it from Amazon for $9.45 (available in two colors).

    14. Pop-up pee pads perfect to use when walks outside aren't a viable option.

reviewer's dog using the pee pad

These pads boast five layers of protection including a leak-proof backing — it can absorb at least four cups worth of liquid. These are mostly recommended for small- and medium-sized dogs.

Promising review: "The little fire hydrant pops up automatically when you unfold the pad, and it has a contrasting color that allows them to see it (while looking really cute). It's the perfect size for a small dog to aim at, it's absorbent so it doesn't splash, and it's small enough that dogs can share the pad without it getting in the way. I have two toy poodles, one boy and one girl. They boy would never make it onto the pad (and nearly ruined my floor) because he didn't have anything to aim at. So I ended up creating my own hydrants out of cans of food wrapped in potty pads. They worked but it was a pain to create a new one each time I put out a new pad. This is so much better! I'm in love with these. Best of all, these are hands down some of the best quality potty pads I've ever used. Liquid jellifies almost instantly so they don't track wet footprints on the floor, and they absorb the smell." —A. Platter

Get a pack of 10 from Amazon for $14.95.

    15. Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser – a conditioning face wash with a cult following and for good reason – it's nice and gentle on ultra-sensitive skin, but contains the same cleaning agents found in contact lens solution so it's powerful in its abilities.

    Ayesha Mittal / BuzzFeed, Glossier

This can either be used on dry skin to help dissolve makeup, or on wet skin to start your day. It's made of five skin conditioners to help leave your face feeling soft. It's hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested, ophthalmologist-tested, claims to be good for all skin types, noncomedogenic, cruelty-free, vegan, and soap-, paraben-, and sulfate-free. Check out our review of the amazing Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser (#2).

I have extremely sensitive skin, and back in fall 2019 I experienced a sudden onset of cystic acne all over my face, went on birth control for it in December, and now six months later, my skin is completely clear and I'm finally wanting to try all of these skincare products I was too scared to use. As someone who was using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for YEARS, I was nervous to make the switch to Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser, and full expected I'd try it once and have to retire it.

Quite the opposite actually. This cleanser is truly SO gentle. Rather than leaving my skin feeling hot and irritated like some skincare products do, this leaves my skin with a cooling sensation and I actually really look forward to washing my face in the morning and at night, rather than dread it. I haven't worn makeup much lately, but the few times I have since buying this cleanser, it's done an excellent job of removing my makeup, and I can go to sleep with peace of mind that my pores aren't clogged up.

Get it from Glossier for $9+ (available in two sizes).

    16. Anti-slip silicone glasses sleeves to keep your eyewear where it belongs, ya know, on your face, and NOT slipping and sliding down to the floor and risking getting broken AGAIN., Amazon

Promising review: "I was a little dubious about these, but my daughter's glasses were always falling off her face and to the floor, so if I could spend a couple of bucks to save her expensive glasses, it was worth a shot. In fact, because you get five pairs, I put a set on my glasses, and I'll be darned if they don't work really well. They add a little bit of bulk to your glasses so if you're extremely fashion-conscious, it's not like tape-on-the-bridge nerdy, but it's there. But if you're more concerned about having your glasses feel like they're going to stay put on your head, then you'll like these. They aren't too thick so you don't really notice them on your ears. In fact, because of the soft silicone, they actually result in less of the occasional soreness I would get from my glasses on my ears sometimes." —Domenico Bettinelli

Get a pack of 10 (five pairs) from Amazon for $6.99 (available in three colors).

    19. An auto shut-off outlet — simply plug it into an outlet, use the button to control how many hours before it automatically turns off after using, and uh yeah, it's literally THAT easy to give yourself some peace of mind any time you're in a rush.

Features a push button so you can set the hours for eight, four, two, one, or hold.

Promising review: "This is the best design of all the countdown timers I've used. I have an individual timer or multiple outlet strip timer on every appliance that could overheat or overcharge, because I worry a lot about fire and don't trust my memory to turn things off. This helps with that!" —MysteryAuthor

Get it from Amazon for $11.60.

    20. A zipper puller to make the near-impossible task of zipping up your dress by yourself SO EASY! FINALLY!

Promising review: "For decades I've been going through contortions to zip up zippers at the back of my dresses or tops when my husband is not on hand to help me. But recently I bought a really cute, REALLY snug (at the rib cage) jacquard dress for an upcoming event that I will dress for alone at a hotel. When I first tried it on at the store, I had to ask another customer in the dressing room to zip me up and down...there was just no way I could contort enough to do it myself. But I wanted the dress. So when I got home, I went on Amazon to see what kind of zipper puller uppers were out there. I was hoping to spend $10-12, but after reading all the reviews I decided I had to have something that would not fail me. So I ordered the Zipuller because it had the best reviews and looked the sturdiest. It has worked every time I have used it. Even on that really snug dress. The zipper tab didn't come out of the clasp when I was zipping past the hardest part. Yay! I'm sold and won't be without it from here on out when I know I will need help." —Southern Gal

Get it from Amazon for $14.99 (available in three colors).

    22. A hair dryer wall mount to allow you to utilize BOTH of your hands for styling, rather than juggling the dryer in one of your hands the whole time.

    person using the dryer mount

This can be adjusted and swivel as needed to get your desired angles. Plus, it features a universal design with pretty much all hair dryer sizes and shapes in mind!

Promising review: "I bought this because I had shoulder surgery and was unable to hold the hair dryer in my right arm. Mounting was bang-on simple and this product is extremely, EXTREMELY sturdy. I half expected it to lose its ability to hold the dryer in place without constant readjustment, but I was completely wrong — even after four months, this is still keeping the dryer where I want it at all times." —JayCee

Get it from Amazon for $29.95.

    23. A folding treadmill so you can workout indoors without taking up precious living space.

    Genevieve Scarano / BuzzFeed

My colleague owns the Treadly 2 Pro and loves it so much that she wrote about it! Here's just a small piece of her glowing review on this innovative machine:

"I find both walking and jogging on the Treadly 2 Pro so easy and enjoyable. Having this treadmill is great, because I can exercise without having to go outside (I live in upstate NY where it's really cold outside) or move furniture around my apartment. It doesn't even matter that it "only" goes up to a jogging speed, I *still* feel sweaty after spending time on it." — Genevieve Scarano, BuzzFeed Editor

Get it from Treadly for $849.

    24. Citrus peelers that'll help you enjoy your favorite citrus fruits without your hands smelling like them for the rest of the day.

person using the peelers on an orange

    25. A bracelet fastener so you can easily clasp your own bracelet together, without needing to rely on someone else being around to help you out.

person using the fastener to clasp their bracelet

Promising review: "Finally a kitchen utensil that saves time, mess, and frustration! I ordered this because my 10-year-old daughter loves to make pancakes but she also leaves an incredible mess. She also loves to make cupcakes and that's even a double mess. Upon receiving the batter dispenser, my daughter took it out of the package and started making pancakes right away without my instructions. She loved the ease to make the pancakes in the container and then one click on the pan with no mess." —Jim Hudson

    27. A brownie pan that'll help ensure everyone gets the best piece of the brownie — the edge piece, of course!

a reviewer photo of a baked treat made using the pan

Made of heavy gauge cast aluminum and durable non-stick coating!

Promising review: "I love this pan, the best way to cut the brownies is to wait till they are cooled down all the way. Then take the plastic spatula that it comes with and loosen all the sides, than flip the pan over on a counter or cookie sheet and take them out of the pan and then cut them. I had no problem getting them out of the pan and the pan washed very nicely." —Mrs. Mary A. Snider

two people carrying grocery bags using the handles

Promising review: "It usually takes me a dozen trips from my car to my house to get my groceries inside, and if I carry too many at once, the handles cut off the circulation in my hands and arms. These special handles solved all my problems. Today, I only made three trips from the car to the house! When I had to put the bags down to open the door, these handles laid on top of the bags and I only had to grab them, instead of searching for all the bag handles as they flopped around. Now there are no more bag marks on my wrist and my hands don't go numb! Who would have thought that something so simple could make my life so much better?" —Rosemary Smith Dattler
