My whole family drinks out of various name brand bottles, coffee mugs, etc. The fact is, they are rarely cleaned because they are a part of our daily lives and they are a pain in the ar$e to clean, because of the inconvenience that they are not dishwasher-safe, or don't fit. The answer is these tablets. They work and they're simple to use." —K.R.

    amazon.com

Check out our write-up of the awesome CarGuys Super Cleaner!

Promising review: "I have used every product that you can find on the shelves of your local store. When I sprayed the cleaner on the light beige interior of a 25-plus-year-old car, the interior turned to its original color. After years of detailing, I had assumed at this point, the color was set and that's it — not with this stuff. While cleaning it I literally said out loud, 'No way, no way,' because I was in disbelief at how amazing it worked, and the results are in the compliments I receive from friends." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $16.99.

    8. A keyboard cleaner and a screen cleaner to help clean away crumbs and dust particles from your tech items.

    Amazon

"I've tried both of these and I'm a little obsessed with using them! The three-in-one deep cleaning set has a handy microfiber cloth in a pouch, a firm-bristle brush to for crusted-on gunk (we all eat lunch at our laptops, admit it), and, my personal favorite, a clever pipe cleaner-like brush to get between your keys. I'm even more obsessed with the double-ended brush, which has a microfiber tip on one side and the WORLD'S SOFTEST retractable bristles on the other. Like, I use this thing more as a fidget toy and for petting the bristles than for cleaning. It's (understandably) backordered till mid-month, but I ordered a couple that'll show up in time for Christmas as stocking stuffers. My laptop is so gross that it's a little past hope, but these tools have definitely helped make clearing out crumbs easier and cleaning my computer more fun. I even use them on the rest of my desk!" —Katy Herman

Get them from Amazon: the keyboard deep clean set for $9.99, and the laptop and screen cleaner for $9.99.

    9. An extendable tub and tile scrubber that'll help cut cleaning time in half as it makes it so much more simple to clean in hard-to-reach, high/low places in your bathroom!

    Amazon

"I own this and it helps me clean my shower twice as fast. It won't take up too much space in your bathroom and it'll also be super easy for you to clean the scrubber part. This thing will come in handy for anyone but it's especially a good option for anyone who has neck and/or back pains that prevent them from reaching certain spots in their shower.

I have asthma so cleaning my bathroom can be much more of a task than it is for other folks. I get winded quickly so I love cleaning products and tools that help me get stuff done faster and easier, which is why this scrubber stick thingy is my JAM. Also, the scrubber part is replaceable so there'll be no buyer's remorse when it wears out from all the scrubbing you're about to do." —Marquaysa Battle

Get it from Amazon for $12.99.

    10. A power scrubbing cleaning kit you can attach to your drill and get to work in making your living space look brand freakin' new.

Promising review: "I bought this on a whim because my walk-in shower is just a pain to clean. I'm 51 and I guess I've just been old school with how I clean, so I was hand scrubbing it for years. The FIRST time I used this to clean my shower, it took five minutes AND it scrubbed my shower cleaner than it has been in years. In the corners, the floor, the glass door, everything came out squeaky clean. I'm NEVER cleaning my shower by hand again." —Terry

Get it from Amazon for $14.95 (available in six colors).

    11. Bar Keepers Friend multi-purpose cleaner to get your kitchen, bathroom, and even cookware (see superb exhibit below), shining brighter than the top of The Chrysler Building!

    amazon.com

For those who are fans of the Bar Keepers Friend Classic Cleanser and Polish, this delivers the same results, but in a pre-mixed formula to make for a quicker clean. It works well against rust stains, tarnish, mineral deposits, soap scum, and indoor and outdoor grime, and is especially good on the following surfaces: stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper alloys, aluminum, ceramic, porcelain, glass, corian. Recommended to use in the kitchen (sinks, cookware, stove cooktops and exteriors, oven door windows, non-stone countertops, and plates to buff out knife marks), bathroom (sinks, bathtubs, showers, faucets, toilets, tile, and grout), and outdoors (rust stains, grills, vehicles, siding, and sporting equipment).

Promising review: "I was so bummed when I scratched up my pretty white sink with pots and pans. I thought I'd need to have it replaced or try to sand it and refinish it somehow, but I bought this stuff as a last ditch effort to fix it myself. It takes some elbow grease to make them go away, the scratches don't just wipe off. But if you scrub at them for a few minutes they melt away pretty quickly. After two rounds my sink looks nearly brand new again. It also worked on a few mineral stains in my bathtub that I thought were permanent after soft scrub failed to remove them. Again, a little of this stuff, the scrubby side of a blue sponge, a little bit of effort and they were gone!" —Dan Borden

Get a pack of two from Amazon for $11.99.

    12. And of course a pack of Bar Keepers Friend Classic Cleanser and Polish. This amazing stuff should be a cleaning staple in every home because there isn't anything it can't handle.

This is ideal for use in the kitchen to clean sinks, cookware, stove cooktops and exteriors, non-stone countertops, backsplashes, porcelain/ceramic dishes, and drained floors, as well as bathroom sinks, tubs, showers, faucets, toilets, tile, and grout, and outdoors with rust stains, plant and pollution grime, automotive vehicles, boats, siding, grills, tools, and sporting equipment! This cleaner is bleach-free!

    Promising review:
"This stuff is like magic! Straight up wizardry. I love it! I initially bought it to clean my sink, which is porcelain, and even though it's not even a year old, is just holding on to all the coffee and tea staining. I'd say it took less than a minute after making a paste with Bar Keepers Friend to clean the sink up to a nearly new shine. Taking a look at the can, it's easy to find bunches of ways to use this stuff and each application is better than the last. Stainless steel, porcelain, ceramic, copper, brass, fiberglass, Corian, chrome, and aluminum. See? Magic! Anyhow, I've used it in the sink, in the bathroom, to clean stainless-steel pots and pans, on a 17-year-old Revereware tea kettle, (which I thought would never be restored to its former loveliness, BTW). This is a product that I will buy again and again, and will happily recommend to anyone." —Nicci Stephenson

Get it from Amazon for $6.99.

    13. A makeup brush cleaning shampoo for ensuring the tools you use on, uhhh your FACE, are kept clean with an all-natural, skin-safe solution.

    amazon.com

This brush cleaning shampoo is paraben-, phthalates-, petroleum-, and perfume-free. It's also hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested, water-based, and made with gentle, plant-based ingredients, because after all, your makeup brushes are used on your face, so you want to be sure you're cleaning them with a natural, safe product.

Promising review: "I hate washing my brushes, I've always done it by hand and it's always caused the big fluffy powder brushes to feel rougher or become matted no matter how hard I try to reshape them. I got this solution and used it with a makeup brush spinner (I used the Mevolic one), and I couldn't BELIEVE how amazing my brushes were afterwards! I also have insanely sensitive skin and most any soap I put on a brush will cause me to breakout when I use it later, no matter how well I typically rinse it. But I really think that this cleaner and the brush spinner worked great and I haven't had any sensitive bumps on my skin since using them." —Chelsea

Get it from Amazon for $4.99.

It removes calcium, lime, and hard-water stains using gentle abrasive action, and cleans porcelain fixtures, hard-water stains, pool tile, toilet bowls, barbecues, steel, and stone.

Promising review: "I have a 19-year-old master bathroom toilet that had accumulated some nasty stains over time, and regular toilet brushes and cleaning products just would not remove them. I decided to try this pumice stone, and it worked like a charm! Given the nature and severity of the stains, it required some elbow grease. But 10 minutes later, I have a new-looking bowl, and I see no signs of scratching." —Happy Retiree

Get it from Amazon for $8.99.

    15. A pet hair roller because everything about our little fluffy friends is absolutely perfect except for the fact that their fur and hair gets on everything we own. But we still love them, right?

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Where has this been all my cat-loving life? Sticky rollers work fine for clothes but this is the only product that has ever COMPLETELY removed all the cat hair from my bed. I have a long-haired 20 pound tabby and if you run your hands up his back a few times and fling the hair everywhere, it looks like it's snowing – he never stops shedding no matter what I do. After using the ChomChom, I can put on a black dress and roll around on my bed and not get a single hair on me. It's absolutely amazing. Everyone is getting one for Christmas, even if they don't have a pet. I don't care; it's THAT good." —Stephanie

Get it from Amazon for $24.95.

We've scrubbed with what seems like a million different products, with no luck. We were actually just talking about ripping out the caulking and doing a total replacement. But, my husband saw this online the other day and decided to order it. Almost immediately when he applied it, you could see it was starting to work. We left it on overnight and the black is COMPLETELY GONE! It's incredible. 1000% worth the (small) investment. Seriously — just buy this. It's amazing!!" —Nicole D.

Promising review: "I had terrible rust and oil stains all over the seats of my car when I bought it. I tried other cleaners to get it out, but they actually made the stains darker. I took it to the dealership to see if they could get it out and they flat out told me no, so I gave up and lived with it for almost five years. I tried this after it was recommended by a friend. I sprayed it on and literally watched the stain run right off my seat. It was amazing! I thought I was going to have to pay hundreds of dollars to replace the seats in my car because nothing else would work. This stuff really is awesome!" —Brittany

Get it from Amazon for $12.52.

    20. A suede brush cleaner that'll stop you from having to spend your last paycheck on bringing your dirty suede shoes to get repaired, or worse... REPLACED.

    amazon.com

Good for cleaning boots, shoes, coats, jackets, furniture, dance shoes, and sneakers, and is compatible with sprays, foams, eraser, and cleaning kits.

Promising review: "BUY THIS THING! I got mud on my new suede boots and thought they were ruined, but this brush completely restored them. I was shocked. I was worried the white would look too bright, but it just makes everything look so much cleaner. I'm very happy with this product!" —Jenelle

Promising review: "A necessary tool to clean your cast-iron pots and pans. Perfectly contoured to the rounded corners used by Lodge in their pans, so you'll easily get any food off that's stuck to your pan. The plastic is sturdy and malleable, but not so much that it will deform. Been using these for a couple of months now, and I haven't had them break. amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "This thing just plain works. We got a mature golden retriever last year and were told he didn't shed. Then in the spring he started shedding badly. We were tired of hair everywhere and somehow I realized that dragging my shoe across the carpet balled the hair up. I found this product on a whim one day and knew it had to be better than my shoe! I ordered it and it was tough at first. The bristles pulled the hair up but then caught the tufts and spread them around. I found that using short quick strokes with the rake turned upside down got the best results. The backside is more like a squeegee and helps pull the hair up in long rolls and keeps the hair in one big pile." —Nick V.

Get it from Amazon for $14.99.

I tried this today, and there is NO sign of the mark. It is like brand new again. I was thrilled with the result and highly recommend it to anyone, but would suggest you try it first to save yourself grief! It is inexpensive in the first place, but to know I can reuse it if necessary on another mark, (hopefully that doesn't occur, but life happens), makes it an even better value." —Kritik

Promising review: "Have you ever seen the movie The Santa Clause? There's a scene where Tim Allen's character shaves away his white beard and then ~WHOOSH!~ it reappears instantaneously. That's basically my bathtub and soap scum. I've tried many products to keep it at bay, but this is the only one that has ever really worked. Not only does it have a cute dog on the packaging, it also allows me to (easily!) wipe away dastardly soap scum without having to use a lot of muscle! 30. A garbage disposal foaming cleaner to tackle built-up grime and those nasty smells you gag at every time you're near your kitchen sink. It's truly so... disgusting.

    Amazon

Comes with four packets. The biodegradable packet cleans/scrubs away at grime and odor that cause build-up and yucky smells on sidewalls, blades, under the splashguard, and other hidden areas. They come in pre-measured drop-in packets and are recommended to use about once a week!

Promising review: "It seems counterintuitive to put a little packet down your garbage disposal to clean it, but this does actually seem to work, at least for getting out weird smells that baking soda and vinegar don't really touch. I scrub the sink down first, especially around the garbage disposal area, rinse it down, and then just follow the directions on the package. I have used it with single, large-size sinks and with double sinks — only difference is that the double sink will have blue cleaning foam rise up the drain, which you rinse away when the disposal sounds clear again. I have tried the foaming cleaner in a can, but unfortunately it stopped coming out of the can about 10% of the way through. Went back to this tried-and-true." —KS

Get it from Amazon for $5.99.

Promising review: "Wow! This is the best rust-removing product I've ever used! I live in the country with my own well, and the water is very high in iron. Honestly, this product is a lifesaver." —Mela

Promising review: "This is absolutely worth every penny. Kudos to the inventor of this product. I have thick long dark hair, and after two months of moving into my own apartment, my shower drain was completely clogged with all my hair. After being disgusted at the amount of hair I had to clean out with a snake (which is NOT a fun task), I decided I needed to purchase something to prevent it from happening again. I read about this product on a BuzzFeed article, and I have no regrets. It is so satisfying to clean out, and it does not lie when it says it catches every single hair. I have had it for close to 4 months without once instance of my shower drain backing up. This product is absolutely worth it." —JT

Promising review: "These things are AMAZING. They are magical. If you have a pet that has accidents in the house, these are a MUST HAVE. After your pet has an accident, all you need to do is open up the packet, place the pad on the accident spot, and then step on the pad to release the magic formula. Leave it there for at least a half an hour or up to 24 hours. Why the discrepancy, you might be asking? Because these pads work on DRIED STAINS. Holla!!!! My puppy has been driving me bonkers with accidents in the house, but I don't sweat it anymore thanks to these pads. They are seriously miracle workers and I will always have a supply of them in my house going forward." —Lisa Koivu

    36. A roll of reusable bamboo towels that are not only easy to use, because ya know, towels are a pretty self-explanatory, but they are environmentally-friendly AND will also save you money in the long run!

These are machine washable (recommended to use a delicates laundry bag), although for longer shelf life, it's best to hand wash and air dry. They can be reused up to 120 times (maybe a little more). And hey, did you know that one roll of these bamboo towels replaces 60 conventional paper towel rolls? Not only is that saving the environment, but that is saving a nice chunk of cash money in your wallet. Margaritas on you, I guess?

Promising review: "I love this. These are great for those times you need a paper towel but don't want to create all the waste to throw it out. They're definitely a lot thicker than a normal paper towel, but function just as well for being easy to crumple up or soak up liquid. I've found these especially helpful for tasks that used to waste a lot of paper towels because towels didn't work for it: like cleaning the litter box, cleaning the bathroom, placing in the microwave to catch spills, cleaning up pet messes, and so on. I've already run some of them through the wash probably five to seven times and they remain just as useful as before." —Caz
