Stalker is a plucky, young police officer eager to impress and climb the ranks. She's not the smartest tool in the box at first, but her strong moral compass and love for detective work see her through in the end.

Stoppard is a jaded officer who struggles with keeping his mind on the job. When he's partnered with Stalker on a murder case, he thinks he's hit rock bottom, but their partnership might just be what he needs to re-focus.

3. Adrien Brody as Leo Köpernick

Leo is a brassy, American movie director who's hired to direct a film adaptation of The Mousetrap, which has been a hit in London's West-End. After clashing with several people, Leo is murdered in cold blood at the theatre.

4. Ruth Wilson as Petula Spencer

5. David Oyelowo as Mervyn Cocker-Norris

7. Pearl Chanda as Sheila Sim
