Tell Us What You Want People To Stop Saying About BPD

Tell us (anonymously, if you want) what people shouldn't say to you or about you when it comes to BPD.

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a condition marked by instability in mood, self-image, and behavior.

As a result, people probably don't really understand what it's like to have BPD, what could be hurtful or insensitive to say to people with BPD, or how to support someone who has it.

So, tell us: As someone with BPD, what do you wish people would just not say to you?

Or: What do you wish people would just get?

Maybe you wish they wouldn't casually ascribe sketchy behavior in relationships to someone "being borderline."

Maybe you wish people would lead with compassion and kindness when they learn about your diagnosis.

Or perhaps you want people to know that pointing out when you're "overreacting" or "being dramatic," is not helpful.

Whatever you want to say about what you wish people would and would not say to you (or about you) when it comes to BPD, share it using the Google form below, and your response could be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Health post.
