We recently asked members of the BuzzFeed Community to tell us what small but amazing things they're thankful for this holiday season. Here's what they said:

1. Having fewer toxic people in your life. / Via Instagram: @callmekevin80

I have cut out some very harmful people out of my life, and I am happier than I have ever been with the people I choose to surround myself with as I move on towards bigger and better things.

5. Flavored coffee creamer. And things that make toddlers easier to deal with.

Thankful for peppermint mocha coffee creamer, every episode of Daniel Tiger on Netflix, and that my toddler learned how to wipe his nose with tissues.

9. A stocked (with free stuff) fridge. / Via Instagram: @lily.duffy

I am thankful for the unlimited free tea and fresh produce at my work. We always have a fridge stocked with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, grapes, avocados and dressings.

12. All the good stuff, but also all the bad stuff. / Via Instagram: @darthvada_r2d2

Thankful for every door that shut on me this year and I'm thankful for the new doors that opened that I never saw coming. I'm thankful for waking up and seeing the sun shining every morning walking to class and for the moon when it comes out and guides me back to my dorm from class. Thankful for not only the good but the bad because equally have made me who I am.

14. Finally feeling depression lift.

I'm thankful that I finally got help for my depression and am starting to feel better. I'm thankful that I can finally feel thankful after years of negative thoughts thinking I had nothing. Also, Tom Hardy. I'm really, really thankful for Tom Hardy.

16. Meeting the band that has changed your life. / Via Instagram: @keganhughes_

I'm thankful that I had the chance to meet All Time Low (the band that saved my life) for the first time this year and thank the singer for everything their music has done for me.

17. And music that makes tough times easier. / Via Instagram: @nataliechls

Magcon, 5SOS, One Direction, Shawn Mendes, and Jacob Whitesides. I've had so many bad moments and turned to them for support, just for happiness, or just to plainly listen to their music to calm down or just to laugh. Sometimes this year I've felt invisible. It's just nice to know that they care in some way.

18. Your first serious relationship. / Via Instagram: @kelly_bove

After years of thinking that I wasn't attractive enough or interesting enough to be date-able, I am thankful for being in my first serious relationship with a man who tells me every day that I am his everything.

25. A new job coming just in time.

I'm thankful for my dad getting a new job. He had been fired December of last year and from then until just a few short weeks ago he was still searching for one. There was a real chance we would have to move to a new state if he couldn't find one in ours. But he has one now and we don't have to move and I have never been more thankful or happy.

28. Being inspired to take up baking. / Via Instagram: @homegrownlifemama

I'm thankful that Netflix aired The Great British Bakeoff so that I would be brave enough to try making bread. The whole process has done wonders for my mental health — the sense of accomplishment of completing something useful and the connection to generations of women past who had much more difficult lives than my own has really put things in perspective.

31. Making new friends.

I'm thankful for my new friends. I grew up not having a lot of friends, and the ones I would have would lie and drift in and out of my life. I feel like the ones I have now are the greatest I've ever had.

33. And of course a loving puppy that makes everything feel better. / Via Instagram: @cashlanier

I'm thankful for my puppy. She helped me get out of my latest depession and she helps me control my anxiety. She's also the reason I no longer feel unbearably lonely, because she's always with me and she's hilarious so there's never a dull moment.
