It's Impossible Not To Love K-Jo After Seeing This Brutal, Hilarious Self-Sass About "Bombay Velvet"
"I was amazing. The rest happening around me, pretty much not."
Karan Johar recently attended the Toronto International Film Festival to talk about his movies, and Bollywood in general.
During the Q&A session, an audience member brought up his role in Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet, Johar's first film as a full-fledged actor.
Johar pulled no punches while indulging in some light-hearted roasting of his own movie, one of Bollywood's biggest financial and critical duds in recent memory.
The audience member insisted that she was being serious about liking the film, much to Johar's surprise and amusement.
He blamed Kashyap for leaving him out to dry after the film tanked.
He didn't have many good things to say about his time on set as an actor either.
But Johar saved the most sass for himself and the non-existent future of his acting career.
