    The Vigil Idiot Reviews "Shamitabh"

A filmmaker thought of a godawful pun and decided to make an entire film about it. What happened next is exactly as bad as you think.

There really isn't much you need to know about this Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush, and Akshara Hassan starrer except that fact that I know people who've never had butter chicken in their entire lives out of choice, and that is still a better idea than anything in this movie. Shamitabh was supposed to be an ode to the Big B voice, but what it actually is is an ode to that part of the Big B brain that makes him sign up for projects like RGV Ki Aag. Three hundred bucks I spent watching your film, R. Balki. That's two butter chickens you owe me!
