Aamir Khan's Transformation For "Dangal" Made Me Wanna Work Out Before I Said "Nope, Not Happening"

Over the course of filming, Khan went from six-pack abs to a paunchy 97 kg and back to six-pack abs again. ICYMI, the guy is 51 years old wtffff.

If there's one common thread running through all of Aamir Khan's films aside from his stellar acting skills, it's his massively different looks in each one of them.

But the dude may have outdone himself in his next release Dangal, where he portrays wrestler Mahavir Phogat during his athletic youth, AND in paunchy middle age.

With 80% of the film revolving around Phogat's life after retirement, Khan decided to film those parts first and ate all the fried foods he could get his hands on.

He decided not to wear a bodysuit, because "feel nahi aayegi".

Eventually, 28 kilos and a little grey hair later, Khan was satisfied enough to take on the role.

    Me.

For reference, this was his body right before he demolished it.

    Not me vs. Me.

The hard work only started once filming for middle-aged Phogat ended, and Khan had to go from 97 kg to the six-pack abs needed to sell the rest of the film.

His diet went from samosas to salads.

And, like any ordinary person, he almost gave up multiple times.

But, of course, this is no ordinary dude. This is Aamir Khan, hamara Christian Bale.

    And pretty soon...

    Boom.

Like, bro, how even is this?

Watch Khan's incredibly unbelievable transformation, and feel awful about having no will power like me:
