Chatterjee posted a viral Facebook note after reportedly walking out of the show, accusing it of being regressive.

Unfortunately, they mistakenly included a photo of acclaimed Bengali actress Tillotama Shome, who is completely unrelated to the story, and called her Tannishtha Chatterjee.

The mistake was especially glaring as the article talks about racism, and includes a photo of the actual Tannishtha Chatterjee just a few lines later.

Shome called out TOI as soon as she came across the mistake, and curtly reminded them that they are two separate people despite being Bengali and dark-skinned.

Others immediately joined in to berate India's largest publication for making such a basic error.

Chatterjee herself replied to Shome's tweet, sounding more resigned than anything.

Over a day later, TOI is yet to correct their mistake.
