Hilarity Ensued After An Indian News Story Was Accidentally Posted On A Baseball Subreddit

Fans of the Washington Nationals MLB team are now Hindu nationalist leader Ashok Singhal's biggest admirers.

The Newse is an Indian news website with a Reddit bot that, seemingly, searches for subreddits to post "National" news stories on.

On July 22, the bot unintentionally posted a story about Hindu nationalist leader Ashok Singhal on r/Nationals, a subreddit dedicated to the Washington Nationals Major League Baseball team.

The post was about a statement made by Singhal in which the leader talks about India becoming a Hindu nation by 2020.

There was some confusion at the completely non-baseball related post initially.

But eventually the moderators decided not to delete it and let the users have some fun with the comments.
