On May 31, Twitter user Rishi Bagree uploaded this photo of Chowdhury with a family at a restaurant, allegedly making the child's nanny stand next to her table as she dines.
Dear Renuka Chowdary If you can't feed the little girl minding your child, please don't bring them to a restaurant!
The tweet went massively viral, getting over 1,700 retweets in just a day.
The photo has made a lot of people angry.
Many pointed out that Chowdhury is far from being the only offender and that this scene is quite common in Indian restaurants.
It should be noted that a recent Global Slavery Index study published in Australia found that India is home to the largest number of enslaved people in the world.
