I have a neurological disorder called Tourette Syndrome which causes me to make uncontrollable movements and vocal sounds called "tics." Because people with Tourette Syndrome also need to date, I downloaded a dating app called Scruff (it's kinda like Tindr but for gay men.....did I mention I was gay?). I received the following messages from someone in my neighbourhood (creatively named Buckyballs77) and let's just say he wasn't trying to flirt with me.

Also, everyone in his building hates me.

I'm also apparently a Youtube sensation. Who knew? (No autographs please).

I'm also inconsiderate because I don't walk in areas where there are trees. (I'm also guessing this guy did very well in his high school physics class).

And there was no happily ever after!

This type of harassment and misunderstanding occurs on a daily basis for people that suffer with Tourette Syndrome.
