So this bride wrote into Slate's advice column, "Dear Prudence," about how she and her husband were upstaged at their own wedding.

She said she and her husband "started dating, got pregnant, had a child, moved in together, bought a house, and got a dog in that order." After years of their families nagging them to get married, they finally did.
It was an $80,000 blowout wedding — one where everyone was overjoyed and moved by the atmosphere.
The groom's best man, "John" — who, GET THIS, was officiating the wedding — was so moved that he decided to PROPOSE to his girlfriend ("Jane") mid-ceremony AND announce her pregnancy.
The bride couldn't even hear the rest of her vows over the commotion. John even asked the band to play a song so he and Jane could have a special dance. She said John and Jane "became the primary focus of our guests."
The groom and John have not spoken since the wedding, so the bride asked advice from Prudence — who said it's worth a fight and having a conversation about.
But people on Twitter were pissed.
