On Thursday, one person called out actor Lukas Gage — who has not publicly stated his sexuality — for playing queer characters.

"If Hollywood can stop hiring non LGBTQIA+ actors like Lukas Gage to play LGBTQIA+ characters, that would be great. He has played four so far. One was enough," the tweet read.
If Hollywood can stop hiring non LGBTQIA+ actors like @lukasgage to play LGBTQIA+ characters, that would be great. He has played 4 so far. 1 was enough.
The actor has, in fact, played multiple queer characters on TV shows including Love, Victor and The White Lotus.

Well, Lukas must've seen the tweet because he responded directly, saying, "You don't know my alphabet."
@JamesWuske u dont know my alphabet
The person then responded, saying, "Then please, enlighten the whole world."
@lukasgage Then please, enlighten the whole world
Lukas promptly responded, "No ❤️."
@JamesWuske no❤️
Two things: One, No one should be forced to reveal their sexuality, and two, queer people deserve to play queer roles.

I think that's something we all can agree on. Thank you, and HAPPY PRIDE!
