At a charity event on Monday, Barack Obama opened up about how hard it was dropping Malia off at Harvard last month.
Like any dad, he talked about how fast time flew:
He said dropping her off was "like open-heart surgery."
"I was proud that I did not cry in front of her, but on the way back, the Secret Service was looking straight ahead pretending they weren’t hearing me as I sniffled and blew my nose," Obama said. "It was rough."
I'm not crying. Or upset. Or hoping that Malia remembers to call him daily.
Ugh, good luck at Harvard, Malia. And, Barack, I'm sure Parents Weekend is coming up soon enough!
