    6 Free Apps That Will Make Your School Life Easier

    School can be tough as it is when you're on the move to classes, commuting, studying and just trying to survive university. Luckily, technology is an ally. Since we already carry our phones, laptops and tablets everywhere with us, we might as well use them to our advantage.     1. Wunderlist

    Every university student to ever live has their schedules crammed with various tasks and priorities each week. You may feel overwhelmed thinking about all the things you have to get done in a short amount of time. Or there may be times where you forget about one task while doing another. Wunderlist is an awesome app that helps you plan anything, set reminders and share your to do list. Also, it's accessible from any digital platform!

    2. Quizlet

    Get back in your studying groove with Quizlet! This app allows you to create and share online learning materials. Instead of just reading off your notebook or laptop, Quizlet is a more interactive way of helping you prepare for tests and exams. Make your own online cue cards, tests and more, all in one simple app.

    3. Headspace

    Inhale. Exhale. Sometimes you may find yourself jumping from one task to the next, procrastinating an assignment or just feeling stressed. Headspace is a meditation app that offers short and themed sessions for you to follow in order to clear your mind. This includes sessions to specifically help you breathe, focus and de-stress. Sometimes we need a reminder to slow down and breathe. Plus, meditation has proved to lower stress levels.

    4. EasyBib

    You may or may not recognize this lifesaver from high-school. EasyBib is an online bibliography that helps create citations, title pages and even looks out for you for plagiarized material. Let's be honest, nobody really remembers how to cite APA from MLA, so use this app to your advantage.

    5. WhatsApp

    For those tedious group projects that your professors are going to make you do, here's a great group chat messaging system. Of course, not everybody is going to have an iPhone, or maybe people in your group won't have Canadian phone numbers. No need to stress! WhatsApp is not only perfect for any number from anywhere but for any kind of phone.

    6. Google Drive

    Does anyone actually carry around USB sticks anymore? If you do, good on you! But for most of us that don't, Google Drive is a great app to have to ensure you have all the documents, media, notes and folders you need with you at all times. The app allows all your files to be easily accessible on any platform, which will definitely make your life easier.
