A couple thought of the best way to stop their in-laws asking when they were going to have a baby...
...by doing a newborn baby shoot, but with their dog, Humphry, as the baby.
Photographer Elisha Minnette told BuzzFeed that she came up with the idea to do the puppy shoot with the couple, Matt and Abby, on a long drive home from picking up Humphry from a breeder.
Minnette described the shoot as a "light-hearted" poke at parents who do similar photo shoots with their newborns.
"Abby and I have the craziest sense of humour and we feed off of each other with ideas," Minnette said.
"The shoot was hilarious. Everything went so smoothly. The pup was enjoying every second of it, and all the treats he was getting!"
"We did this shoot just for a little bit of humour between ourselves, as well as for those that share the same sense of humour as us."
Minnette then decided to shared the photos on her Facebook page – and people loved the idea.
"We did not expect this to get as big as it has! Myself, Matt, and Abby are overwhelmed with how far this post has reached," she said.
"People may say we have way to much time on our hands to do this photo shoot, but that's not the case – we just prefer to be creative!"
Will we get to see more of Humphry, the star of the newborn shoot, in the future?
"Yes," Minnette said, "I think everyone will be seeing a lot more of Humphry in the future!"
