Supercar Gets Delivered In Essex Then Crashes Into A Lamp Post

No one was hurt in the collision, police said.

This is a McLaren supercar and, apparently, if you are into cars, it is quite a good one.

The McLaren 650S Spider costs up to £200,000 and has great car features.

It can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in three seconds (very useful on the M25) and has a top speed of 204mph (less useful on the M25).

A two-year-old model was delivered to an address in Hutton, Essex, on Wednesday 27 April.

Neighbours told local reporters they saw the happy new owner celebrating with champagne as the car was unloaded.

Unfortunately – ten minutes later – this happened, according to the Brentwood Gazette.

It is believed the car collided with a lamp post and then crashed into a tree, police said in a statement.

No one was hurt in the collision, Essex police confirmed to BuzzFeed News.

They said the car was seen driving near Poplar Drive, Brentwood, just before the incident at 2.40pm and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed it to come forward.

They are yet to establish who was driving the supercar at the time.

Truly a painful sight for car lovers.
