A Man Has Been Charged Following An Acid Attack In London

    Update: Police have charged a man after an acid attack on Resham Khan and Jameel Muhktar last month.

    A man has been charged following an acid attack on two people in London last month, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed.

    Resham Khan, 21, and Jameel Muhktar, 37, were out celebrating when acid was thrown through a car window on to them on 21 June. Both suffered "life-changing" injuries.

    John Tomlin, 24, was been charged with two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent on Monday. He will appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

    Tomlin, of Colman Road, Canning Town, was arrested on Sunday. He was remanded to appear in custody.
