This movie is great for anyone who loves christmas. Its also the first Barbie film in the franchise, which makes it a true classic. Recommended to people who are into ballet, as the tale is enhanced with spectacular dance scenes created by the acclaimed choreographer Peter Martins, and features the beloved music by Tchaikovsky.

Barbie in the Nutcracker (2001)

This movie follows the story of Princess Genevieve and her eleven sisters as they go to a magical world where their wishes come true. Its a story about grief and the power of family. Recommended to anyone who likes dancing, as well as people who are into the 'forbidden' romance between princesses and shoe cobblers.

Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses (2006)

This movie is great for anyone who wanted to be a mermaid at any point in their lives.I recommend it to anyone who loved H2O: Just Add Water, or to people who are into bad puns.

Barbie in A Mermaid Tale (2010)

The movie follows the story of Elina, a wingless fairy who goes on a journey to save the enchanted land of Fairytopia. I personally recommend it to anyone who is into fairies, or anyone who loves cute sidekicks (puffball Bibble is a 10/10)

Barbie: Fairytopia (2008)

This movie is truly elite. It follows a rags to riches story of a struggling young woman who, by luck, finds out she is the lost princess of her kingdom. Recommended to anyone who loves royalty or villain redemption arcs.

Barbie: Princess Charm School (2011)

Even though it is only the second barbie movie, the girlpower in this movie is insane. We see Barbie as rapunzel fighting for her independence, along with Penelope the dragon (amazing character, by the way).

This movie is perfect for musical theater kids. The songs are amazing and the story is very cute. The story follows a classic tale of mistaken identity, and the love stories are fantastic. How can you refuse?

Barbie as the princess and the pauper

This movie is very relevant nowadays. It follows the story of a tiwillerbee who lives in a nature reserve that is threathened to be replaced by a large factory. It is a retelling of the Hans Christian Andersen story and definitely worth a watch.
