The rich didnt ruin any of these things, it got popular on social media/the internet and created trends, so the suppliers chose to put the prices up because demand went up. If you had 10,000 non rich people suddenly buying a $1 product then the supplier could still increase the price…

The rich didnt ruin these, it's when they become popular on social media and then a trend starts, oh my lord. Also an article like this is stupid... should I say that less well off people ruined designer bags by buying fake knock offs? Or is attacking a one way street?
